After the '92 British GP, where Mansell clinched the championship, Senna was pulled over for speeding near Heathrow. Reports have it that the constable strolled over and asked, "Who do you think you are, Nigel Mansell?!". Another report has it that Alain Prost was tagged in a radar trap in France in '86, and was asked, "Who do you think you are, Alain Prost?". There's been some other F1 drivers caught speeding like the 2nd time Ralf got caught in one of those infamous radar traps in Austria he also didn't have his license w/him and the officer wouldn't believe him when he 'claimed' to be the F1 driver http://www.ananova.com/news/?keywords=Formula+1 |
