A couple races ago I saw Rubino wearing a hat similar to the fila ferrari hat except it had the marlboro logo on front. |

Oh, interesting. Didn't hear that yet. But I did hear, that his career is over for 2005. I can't imagine they would replace him with Wurz. I mean DC ain't the greatest, but please Wurz? You gotta be kidding. |

Yeah, but at least RB knows he donesn't have a chance of winning the WC. I get the feeling that DC will still be blabbing away about this being his year long after he is retired. He looked miserable today after qualifying. This one lap deal has ended his career. I don't think he will be with McLaren next year. There are rumors that Wurz may fill in next year and then they might be so bold to bring Heidi Kovlarian from the Nissan Series. Two flying fins. That ought to make Ron's day. Regards, Jon

Nope, it is his number (his car's actually). Regardless of where he would have ended up last year, he would have gotten #2 if his teammate won the WC. Rubens and DC, eternal #2. But then again I take their life anytime. Making millions and doing what you love is good enough. Even if you're eternal #2. |

Doesn't the #2 on his hat signify that he was #2 in the 2002 World Championship standings??? No, I do not believe that he will ever be WC but I believe he does a very good job of running in the #2 slot on the team. |

Yeah, Jon, it did seem a little cheesy. At least Michael's #1 hat is more subtle, with the #1 in smaller type on the bill of the had, and a sponsor logo front & center.. I guess Rubens' hat matches his car # and that's good enough for Jean Todt. |

Reubens on the podium after winning pole. He's wearing that red Ferrari hat with a hufe #2 on the front of it. How fitting. If I were him I would put a sponsor on the front or get a new number. If I were him I wouldn't wear that hat. Just goes further to solidify his #2 status and that he is not WC material. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23
