The 'rent-a-babes' were definitely very courteous. More than at other events. Good question about the helmeted shot. No that was actually inside our rental in the parking lot, but we had the trunk open. The slot car track is a replica of the Goodwood hillclimb itself. Not bad really. Obviously too short, but the track layout and surroundings is fairly accurate. And since all the hill climbers came down the same route, it made sense to make it into a 'circular' track. BTW: I believe Jay Kay hold the record on the model track and as long as I was there nobody could beat his time. Reminded me of my childhood when we played with slot cars. Was very tempted to get the commemorative set right then and there (you know the one with Glickenhaus' friends' car). |

Andreas, thanks for linking those. Definitely looks awesome! Questions/comments: The rent-a-babes even looked more receptive to cameras there than they do at regular events! Where were you in the helmeted shot? Was that the helicopter? The slot car track--what was that a replica of? |
