I just read this article at the local pub last night. The insight is great, I love how R&T was able to figure stuff out that teams wouldn't normally provide. Thanks for the heads up Bret.

Bret and everyone else, if you're into the technical aspects of F1, there is a book out by Giorgio Piola called "Formula 1 '99 Technical Analysis", published by Menoshire Ltd for £20. A 2000 season edition is expected soon. This is a heavy engineering read going into all details of the cars. For a review, pick up Auto Italia issue 53, Jan 2001.

In this months Road and Track (March 2001) there is a whole article about the Jaguar F1 car (it's not the Ferrari, but it's still F1). It is filled with great information. Also, the whole magazine is nothing but sports and racing cars this month (2 F1 articles, Le Mans car article, a few Japanese sports cars, and some others). If you don't get Road and Track I would suggest picking up a copy from the store. In the article it gives in depth views about the "wood" plank on the bottom, the engine (214 lbs), the brakes, etc. It's pretty interesting.
