It's too bad one of the Pro Drive Ferraris was DQ'd. I hope the appeal is successful since these guys drove an impressive race. You would think the two Pro-Drive cars are similarly set up yet one passes the stall test and one doesn't.

It was amazing to see that these 550 Ferraris came out in front overall to some of the prototypes. Here is a photo that I took of the Pro Drive cars on the corkscrew. They were already a lap ahead of the Corvettes.

The 550 won at Road America this year, Laguna Seca last year, and this year with the #88 Prodrive being DQ'd (under appeal though), the #80 550 is the winner.

All of this info is top of my head, I would need to check www.americanlemans.com for all the correct info.

Greg; Let me clarify... I heard the announcer sat that the prodrive cars narrowly missed a win at the race prior to laguna. Which is why I inquired about rob's "winning streak" comment.

Hubert,
The corvettes have never won @ Laguna. The prodrive car won its first race @ Laguna last year. I don't recall hearing the commentators say that the prodrive car had never won, but even if they did, they frequently spew mis-information, so you shouldn't rely on much of what they say. Prodrive won the last race at Road America as well.

I forgot to add that the winning prodrive car at Laguna was excluded for failing the post-race stall test.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the in-car footage w/shane lewis in the 360 GT. The speed of the shifts was pretty amazing. It's too bad the F1 trans in race guise has so many mechanical problems.

Rob; sorry, but I could have swore that the annoucer commented on how the 550's had yet to win a race.

Hubert;

The 550 made a last lap pass at the race at Road America. This time they just ran away and hid.

>>Ferraris are on a winning streak!!!!!!!!
Although I wish it was as fun to watch as the last race (not very close racing).<<

Didn't the 550's come in 2nd last race? Or, are you refering to both the 360 (GT) cars and the 550 (GTS) cars?
