For good clean fun, how about Champs? There is usu a band on race weekends, open back bar with fire pit, nice setting. Near Saks at Keystone and 86th.

We found a better place than the Classy Chassy, girl wise, not car wise. I can't remember the name, but it's over by the airport. It's the one that Letterman kept showing the ad on his show because they were calling the "loop" the David Letterman Loop or something like that.

Andreas;

The porsche super cup race might be entertaining. Travis Pestrana is going to be racing in it and if you ever followed motocross or supercross you know what i am talking about.. The kid had no respect for equipment. He would be the one driver not afraid to use it as a weapon on the track. And if you want to go to Classy Chassy or hooters after the Circle of Ferraris let me know.

SO what happened to the Ferrari Challenge Race? I did not go last year, but the year before, all the challenge cars raced.

So, it looks like Hooter's then.

Hmm, I'm not so sure about these times anymore: They're taken from the Indy FCA site. However if you go onto the official US GP site, the Saturday hours are all switched forward by one and the last qualifying is missing altogether. Making the events effectly being over at 3:40pm.

So MY your best choice might be to go to Hooters...

MY, you got it, classy chassis was the name. I knew it was something car related.

Since you arrive late, here the action for Saturday:

4 - 4:40 p.m. Porsche race #1 (16 laps)
5:30 - 6 p.m. Support Race (TBD) qualifying
8 pm Ferrari Chat annual meet at Capri Restaurant

Normally late on Saturday they run the historic F1 cars. So I'll be sticking around at the track for a long time. And then it's off to Capri. I guess no Hooters for me.

I just like wings, breasts and beer. But if anyone has a better idea to meet somewhere on Saturday, then let me know. I am arriving too late on Saturday to go to the track, but would love to meet up with some of you guys if it works out. Keep me posted. I think the Hooter's is on W 38th street close to the track. Let me know of any plans that you guys come up with for Saturday.

Help me out guys, what is the deal with Hooters?

I know the chain and yes they have some lovely waitresses (sometimes), but what the hell? There is a F1 GP going on and tons of cool gatherings of Ferraris and all you guys talk about is chicken wings?

What am I missing here? Is this Hooters (where is it anyway?) better/different than other Hooters?
I don't get it, clue me in please.

On an almost related note: There is terribly cool strip club South of Indianapolis near the highway. Forgot the name, but it had something with racing or cars in it. Anyway, went there once, nice place, the usual, but: The place was huge and the entire ceiling was covered with race cars. Including...drumm roll....a 333 SP! I couldn't believe it. Now THAT is a place worthy of worship.

I get in on Saturday at 3:00 and will probably go straight to Hooter's from the airport. My wife bailed on me for the race so I am going solo.

If anyone is interested Wednesday and Thursday at Hooters at 6:30 (I've got the classy Black Leather jacket with the SF shield over the breast pocket). I'm buying the beer. GO FERRARI !!!!!!!!

2 Titles at stake....

3 Drivers going for it...

3 Team going for it...

Pretty much sums it up I guess...

I'm glad the rules were changed this year to make it difficult for Ferrari to win, because when we do , there can be no doubt or whinning about who the best team and best driver in the world are! Forza Ferrari!

Of course, it will be a lot more exciting if (and WHEN) our guys come out on top & JPM knocks off a wheel at one of the barriers!
Is there a way to pass on to the Formula 1 gurus that making the tracks better for overtaking would bring a lot more intrest to F 1 racing?

'I love this season. It is not boring.'

You said it. The last few years were nice to see the absolute power of the entire Ferrari team. However, these last few races, and especially the upcoming Indy, I was and will be on the edge of my seat the entire race. When ur heart rate accelerates when ur watching the race on TV, u know damn well its a good race.

Hallejujah, amen, and pass the Bridgestones. In my 5 years of watching F1(and 3years of ownership) this is by far the most meaningful and exciting stretch of F1 championship racing! I know the early 90's were better racing, BUT...
I will be at Indy in 11 days bleeding Rosso Fiorano and loving every minute of it!!!

In two weeks, I do not have to have a very early Sat. night and get up at 4:30 a.m. to watch the race. I will be at a party watching with fellow Ferrari guys. Of course, we will come in 1 & 2 at Indy.

First time in years Indy means something.

I love this season. It is not boring.
