If you get there for the warm up on the day of the race you will drive right in. getting out is still a two hour wait if you park next to the track. let me know how you make out, we are not going this year.

Kelly, Nashville looks pretty good. We will be driving up I65 from Tuscaloosa, AL so it looks very convient also. How was the traffic going north on 37 or did you just get back on I65N to get to the track? Appreciate your recommendation.

Regards,

Drew

I recommend staying Nashville, IN. About 80 miles south of the track. We like the little town to come back to in the evenings.
We stayed at the Comfort INN. You may have to call them direct to get a room.

Drew, check out the Embassy Suites. We got a couple of last-minute rooms there last year and they were a great deal. I know circumstances were a little different, but there's a chance they didn't rebook all their rooms since they had vacancies last year. Also, depending on how far you want to commute, look into going west towards Illinois. Danville is right over the border, and I think it's just under an hour.

Anyone have a recommendation on where to stay Sept 27 to 29. Preferably south of Indianapolis, Hampton/Comfort Inn type pricing. Most of the places I'm comming up with are full or look to be really dumps. Had to stay all the way in Kokomo (way north of Indy) 2 years ago. Any help appreciated.
