Anybody know why the 360GT has the front air porch covering the access to the underbody air channels? (the center of the front nose). I thought that you need a certain amount of air to flow under the car (more air mass flowing equals lower underside pressure). | ||

No unfortunately we did not get to talk to the drivers. It was super frustrating because Brent Martini was standing right next to me but he was talking to his crew. We had about four hour drive to get to the track so by the time we got there and parked the car it was nearly race time. We did make it to their pit (it was our first stop of course) right when they started the cars up to warm up the engines. Man, that GT is loud, but it sounds great. As far as the Challenge car goes, it was very mild. You could not even here it running next to the GT. However, when it was on the track it sound very, very nice. One thing about VIR (even with the AMA Superbike races) you are basically right in the middle of everything including the pit, the podium celebration, etc. Access and race veiwing is great at that track. I will definitely be going back next year. | ||

Great pictures, Mark! Must have been fun walking through the pit area. Did you talked to the drivers? The orange red color is Rosso Scuderia. It's available for the new 360 Challenge Stradale. I don't like that color either. That Challenge car looks almost stock except for the rear wing. Finished 14th ain't bad first time out. | ||

I will say that I am not sure how much I like the "new" Formula One Red color that they are using on the 360GT. It looks very orange to me. | ||
