That's right. Set your VCR, DVD-R, DTR for this (and 2x check, 3x check your settings). This is going to be a true milestone and a race to remember.

Heck, I bought a Panasonic digital video recorder(w/ DVD burner) just to capture this moment.

Forza Ferrari!

WHAT A HISTORIC NIGHT IS UPON US!!!!

A Ferrari victory is nice, another Schumacher Ferrari title is cool, but how about the fact, that Michael can become the first (and probably only) six times F1 champion?

It's like the superbowl of superbowl. I can't wait. If he clinches this title, this will be a race you can tell your grandchildren about. I mean I don't know anybody who witnessed Fangio's fifth.

IT IS HISTORY IN THE MAKING AND WE'LL BE PART OF IT.

Obviously, Ferrari wants to take the win and put up RB with light fuel load so he could take pole and hopefully stay there. Takes the pressure off of MS and locks up the Constructor's C'ship if he wins. So, I guess DC will let KR past so he becomes blocker and will take MS out if he has to keep from being passed, rain or shine. RB can try to run away with it, or if he gets passed, stay in the race so he can block KR from taking the win. MS will probably get past DC in the pits, and possibly KR too, if its raining and he can get up behind him before pitting. Then again, maybe all this strategy is just hypothetical and they will just race and someone will have good luck and someone bad. It should be fun to watch!

Jim, I agree that JPM should be black flagged if he even brushes against RB. If he just races honestly instead of his usual recklessness, Rubens will be ok. He will win it if he just gets the chance to drive the race.
Michael will be ok. If anyone can pass folks, he has the package to do it.
#1- if MS even gets 1 point, it is all over in our favor.
#2-if Kimi doesn't win, it is all over in our favor
Let's hope for RB & MS 1 and 2 !!
GO FERRARI!!

Michael qualified on dry tires. Elected not to change to wets. Lost quite a bit of time but was only three seconds off pole pace.

Woke this morning (just couldn't keep eyes open anymore) and find a grid that looks very interesting. At first glance I thought MS was is in trouble but now thinking things over he should really be in good shape. With Ruben and JPM in the lead and with exception of a major pile up in the first couple of laps, this looks as good as done for MS's 6sth championship. Leaving today for a vacation and I sure hope that the hotel has Speed so I can watch. Real race will be for the constructors championship. Let's get it on!

Weather: Raining with forecast for more rain. The sun goddess Amaterasu O-mikami is not pleased, but Ferrari (fans) should be.

Here's the animated weather map - lots, I mean lots of clouds. Hopefully a blessing in disguise.

Unless there is a mechanical failure or an on track incident I believe its a two man race to the finish between RB and JPM. No way the Toyotas are going to catch them and Kimi will be so paranoid as to going off he will have a difficult time passing the 5-6 cars. David Coultard will obviously let him by into 7th on the first lap. Michael should be able to scratch his way up to 5th or 6 by the finish. Looks very difficult for KR to finish first and Michael not to score points. A lot will obviously depend on the first lap and the avoidance of someone taking Michael out in their desire to gain a few positions. Should be an interesting start and a good finish. The middle will be nail biting time for Michaels fans.... enjoy.

So, if JPM and RB go out in a cloud of dust, then the Toyotas don't finish, Coultard takes WEbber out for the good of the team....could be a race for C'ship. Wait, that can't happen, can it????

Perhaps the powers-that-be will change the qualifying rules for next year due to this. My heart sank into my gut when the rain hit at the last minute, simply unbelievable. My hopes are with MS as this may be his last chance at a world championship. Barrichello did well, but I hope it wasn't due to a light fuel load. We'll all have to just wait and see. GO FERRARI !!

I guess the radio is ahead of TV..you guys were a few minutes ahead of my feed!

How can you like MS's position? That is a dangerous position for MS to be in, since he will have a lot of scrappers to get thru at the start.

Grid looks good for tomorrow - Rubins and YPM will pull away from the Toyotas and that should hold up P3 through P8 pretty good. Unless there is total chaos on the track this is now RB's race to lose. He can help the team clinch the title and Michael clinch # 6.
