So do you think Rob that Ferrari has gotten the win (well two now), they will focus on other things (using that theory)? Hint: GT's, prototypes, etc... |

They got mad when their 8's got taken away. I think it's fair, although their 6 isn't competitive with the Porsches except on the tight tracks, there is no such thing as a 8 cylinder 3 series. Although, I think it was contemplated that they were going to make the minimum 250 or so and call them GTR's and only sell them in Europe. I guess that fell through for now. Over on the Grand Am board they're sick with happiness over this... pointing their fingers at ALMS saying "we told you it's better in the long run to focus on privateer teams, because the manufacturers will just leave every few years after winning or not being able to win." BMW did this a few years ago with it's proto too. Wonder if they're pulling a Ferrari?... "F1 focus only until we get the win." |

What's up with BMW and American LeMans - I have a press release saying they won't race in that series anymore?? |

It's disappointing that Ferrari doesn't spend money on GT, prototype and endurance racers anymore. That is just as much a part of Ferrari history as F1. Now that they have won 2 years straight and look good for a 3rd year maybe they will divert some attention and funds to prototypes and kick some Audi butt! |

I'm disappointed that there's not 24 hour coverage again on Speedvision. ---- 13 SRP Risi Competizione Ferrari 333SP Risi Competizione Eric Van De Poele, David Brabham, Stefan Johansson, Ralf Kelleners 33 GT Scuderia Ferrari of Washington Ferrari 360GT Ferrari of Washington Cort Wagner, Los Angeles, CA Constantino Bertuzzi Allie Ash, Jr., Great Falls, VA |
