They are pretty close to that, but I think the picture contributes also. The seat reminds me of one of those luxury recliners that you lean back in, but it's a little more upright than them I guess. From what Hakkinen has said (I've seen him around there before) it is really comfortable to drive, everything is so padded. It's kind of like the cockpit of an F-16, with the reclined position which helps cut down on g-forces and fatigue on the body. They took the car away last week. Damn, I should have stole it while I had the chance. No one would notice that it was missing, right...

Is it the picture, or are the driver's legs kicked-up that much by the front-trailing-edge seat bolster? How can that be comfortable? Looks like the driver's legs are almost in-line with his chest!

I thought it would be the 2000 car, but upon arriving I realized that it is the 2001 car, sweet.

I'll have to resize the images and post them (there are a bunch). I would do it now, but I am on my laptop and it is giving me attitude with them so I will do it tomorrow on the big computer.

The car is amazing. It is all tires, they're huge. The car looks like you would break it if you stepped on it, but I guess looks are deceiving. It is longer than I thought it would be and so low down to the ground. Wow. The cockpit looks more comfortable than I thought it would be too, it is all cushioned and leather. It looks like you could pick it up in one hand. It is so smooth when you run your hand down it. Everything is covered for aerodynamics. What a cool car.

They have the 2000 McLaren F1 car at my mom's work right now (she works at the Mercedes Benz USA headquarters that is here in New Jersey) so I'm gonna take the digi camera and get some nice shots of it. I know, it's the enemy, but it's better than nothing. If only my mom worked for Ferrari, damn she had to be German, if only she was Italian like my dad. I'll go either tomorrow or the day after that (I can't remember what day it is, I had to snow days this week). And then I'll post them here.
