Look on the URL? There's a concept, not sure why I didn't think of that. Thanks, Tom

The F2002 has been the quickest in testing at Circuit de Catalunya for three straight days with
Rubens and Michael. A full race distance was also done with no issues. It will be succesful and expect a podium finish. Ciao.

This F2002 car is being overhyped....
What happens if it hits the grid and can only be qualified in 3rd or 4th position - Ferrari will look very stupid.
Get it on the grid NOW and start developing it NOW.

I likes Rick's suggestion. Let's have Rubens race the new car first to minimize the risk of coming with no points in Brazil if both of the cars break during the race. Personally, I can wait to see how the new car compares to the Williams/BMW car.

Id like to see a new car. Lets see some risk taking here and make a bold move. Plus it adds to the stress of the other teams not really knowing what Ferrari is up to. The old car is a known quantity. Time for the new one to blaze the circuit :-)

In 2001 Ferrari did make modifications to their car late in the year as many of the team do. With little rule changes and limited off season testing the 2002 are not significantly diff from last year though Ferrari believes it has made some good changes and as you point out are waiting to get comfortable with the reliabilty.

Some of the changes are refined aerodynamics. The rear of the car is much narrower behind the driver and lower. There was a side by side split car comparison in Auto Sprint (the italian race magazine.) Pretty interesting in that it pointed out every difference between the chassis'. The new engine/gearbox package is in one unit to form the rear end and has better balance.

Rubens has been running the '02 all week at barcelona. it would be great to see him in it at Interlagos. let MS run his present ride that way if the '02 breaks they can blame it on Rubens' bad luck. FORZA RUBINHO

On what, the changes of the 2002 car? All I know is the gearbox and crankcase are all in one piece and there's no clutch in the tranny...

My Coultard fan friend is trying to tell me Ferrari really introduced their 2002 car early towards the end of last year. Seems like this F2002 has quite a few changes vs. whatever you want to call any of the cars in 2001. Anyone have the scoop on this?

Rumor has it they may bring it. Brazil will be interesting with the Williams resurgence. Were it not for the first corner incident, the F2001 with Rubens and Mike would have rolled to 1-2 in Malaysia. The F2002 has been faster at Fiorano and Mugello than last years car so the Williams and the rest better get used to 3rd or worse on race day. Reliability is the only question with the new car as the F2001 has been great except for the extreme heat and stress of Malaysia with Rubens blowing up. Either way we'll be on the podium. Ciao.

Will the F2002 finally race in two weeks? Do you think it should or should the 2001 be the car? Personally I want to see the F2002 and hope its ready.
