Ron, You cannot see the dipstick. Using the picture as reference, It is in the upper right corner (pass side) between the cam belt and the sparkplug on the firewall side. | ||

Matt, will you do me a favor and look at the engine picture on Eugenio's web site http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html and see if you can see where the dip stick is? I feel pretty stupid, but I could not locate it the other day when I was looking at my engine. Also, is that a good phone number posted on the other thread (aside from the area code problem)? It is different from the numbers I have? | ||

It's so funny... it doesn't take much to have a "driving event"... something as little as a smog check is eventful enough! I LOVE IT! Breakfast and a short drive for afterwards sounds good... aiming to get back home early, though. | ||

Matt, thanks, I knew that, I was mainly asking for more details and the timing. So if I understand correctly, the main "drive" would be around 9 am, meeting somewhere in the Vlley? Maybe we could meet for breakfast and start the drive from there. As of now, count me in and I will have room for a passenger. Anyone that wants to ride along, let me know. | ||

As it looks now. JL is going to Eugenio's in the morning. If he drives it out, We can meet him and I can bring him back. If he follows his car, we will meet in the SF valley @ 9:00-9:15ish Byron, Gene and myself will meet at the shop @ 8:00ish in Sunland to get his car smoged. It really depends on JL and what he ends up doing. Ron, You do not even need to ask. You are always welcome on the drives | ||

Hey Guys, The way things look right now, is that I am dropping my car off to be serviced early Saturday morning and then the mechanic is going to give me a ride back. I think that I am going to suggest that I would like to have the car towed there and drive up with the vehicle. This way I can meet you guys somewhere in the valley. That sounds fine to me... I can leave my house at 7am and meet JL at his house... then drive out to your neck of the woods or Eugenio's...whatever works best, as long as it works out for Gene as well. I should try to get back late morning, though (my folks are visiting from out of town...) | ||
