Ok, I did that.
On this post the username and password are blank.
I will type them in and go from there.
I did that and I got the fill in bar with my user name. I did not get a remember password prompt but on the preview portion the user name and password remain. When I edited this post i did get the prompt to remember the password.
I think this will clear the problem.

That's and F-caht thing. Go to edit profiles and under preferences, uncheck
Remember my username and password in a cookie
Clear the cookie when I exit my browser |

I'll try that, but I thought I did clear the cookie the first time, but maybe not.
As far as the info popping up, for me (with I.E. 6) the name and password are already in place in their respective boxes.
The only time they were not in place was the situation described in my first post. Then as I typed them in there was no auto completion box popping up. There never has been an auto completion box in this area. I do get them in other areas where I am to enter a password or email address, etc. though.
I will try this at home tonight and see what happens. Thanks. |

IF you are using Internet Explorer, goto tools intnet options and clear your cookies and history. If that still does not clear the error, when you start typing you username it should pop up as a you type. hit the down arrow and highlight the box then hit delete. |

I have a problem posting from home. When I post from work, the problem is not there.
When I come to this site from home, down at the bottom of each thread in the area where I would post from, is my user name and password already filled in.
The problem is that both the user name and the password that are pre-entered for me from my home computer are wrong. They are correct when I access the site from my work computer.
I have to correct the user name and password each time or else I get an error message.
I erased the chat cookie once and the first time I came back to the site my user name and password were empty. Great, I thought, it worked.
So I filled them in with my correct user name and password and it worked fine. However, the next time I came back, mysteriously the old bad user name and password reappeared.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
