Byron, Even though he didn't say thanks that picture is priceless. I still have a picture of the first ticket I ever got. I had my drivers license about 10 weeks- ditching High School. Cop pulls me over for Speeding in Palos Verdes. Every time I see the picture it brings back great memories. | ||

Matt My car has a misfire problem. It could be that the fuel filters are bad. Also I have it on jack stand right now, as I am going to attempt to do the 30k major my self. I have the removed the rear tires, rear bumper, and the inside of the wheel wells. A friend of mine is supposed to give me a hand at his shop. So I figured I would get a head start on the project. He has been really busy and hasn't had much free time. They race in the South West NASCAR series. Hopefully I will have it finished this week if he still isn't too busy. There are getting close to pre season testing and things are picking up at his shop. | ||

I met a guy last night that is in Camarillo. He has a sweet silver 360 with some Giovanni rims on it. Anyway he is down for some drives. I'll let him know about the next one to Santa Barbara. | ||

I already got an e-mail from the mechanic letting me know that everything looks good. One time we will have to swap cars for a couple of miles. | ||

Well guys, what can I say? Another great exciting Ferrari Day ... where?... beautiful Tujunga! It was great to see all of you again... Craig, Jean-Louis, Ron, Gene, Matt.. we must do this again!... (well, maybe under different circumstances). Thanks for meeting up! A few of us met up today so I could take care of some emissions requirements for my car... turned out to be quite an adventurous day. From the early morning meeting to the brisk, "rocky" drive up toward Angeles Crest, then a nice breakfast, culminating in a LONG afternoon... it turned out to be just another day in the diary of us So Cal F-Chatters...hehe... Matt, all I can say is... "Don't sweat it... and... um... SI, baby!"  Here are some pictures: We all brought our cars...somehow Craig didn't get the memo and just brought his alternator.  We headed up Angeles Crest...     What a nice shot of everyone's cars!  Gene... a near miss!!  Well, after a very long afternoon... I thought that all was well but fear not... "the man" is always out to get ya!   (The officer ended up giving me a fix-it ticket for not having my rear plate - of course, that was the sole reason why I was in Tujunga to begin with!!! Ironic, isn't it?) Anyways.... the first shot was staged... he was posing for that one ...hehe... the two cops were both very excited about my car and were not giving me much trouble... Well, that was my day... Hope all is well with everyone else. Thanks again, guys...as always, it was a blast. Email me if you want the high res originals.... I think I just found my new computer desktop background picture! |
