It was a wonderful day, and a wonderful drive. Those back roads were amazing.
Byron- How come you are bringing the car to dromo? I thought that it was being used at the convention center?

Coop, Ron... I'll have to check on my camera settings. perhaps it's set for indoor and not outdoor...probably something minor like that. I'll fix it before our next outing.

btw... I will have my car for Dromo1. They have a few too many cars for the show this weekend and asked if I didn't mind sitting this one out... I responded, "of course!!"

Coop, when are you going to join us on our drives or other get togethers? The go carting event next Saturday is still open. We would love to see you there.

Byron, that is the same thing I mentioned about your Ortega pictures. I don't think your shots on the SB run on Jan 1 or the Feb 1 Tujunga shots had a blue tint.

Maybe the settings on your camera have been accidently changed.

Hey, I just noticed that I am now Formula 3. That must have happened on the 250th post a few minutes ago.

Byron

It seems something is wrong with your camera setting. The ones with flash are ok, but the others have a blue tint... or is't just me

Ok... the pictures are accurate the descriptions are all wrong...

Correction #1: Group shot - It's Elden on the right... who's Teldon?
Correction #2: 1hr of work translated into ??? okay...I'm not going to even bother with this one.
Correction #3: It's Elden in my car, not Ron...

That's what I get for posting at 2am... my brain was completely shot. How embarassing. My apologies!

Rob,

It says,"DISCLAIMER: None of the speeds quoted in this shirt were acheived on public roadways and DEFINITELY not while participating in any FCA or FOC sponsored events! "

They made a one off but I am sure it can be mass produced.

That polo shirt is great, what does the back say though? How many can be made up or is that a one off?

Thanks again Guys. I could not have asked for a better birthday. A drive, breakfast and working on a Ferrari. I loved every minute.

Byron,

You have passed the "first" pothole in Ferrari ownership. I am glad it's running better. It really needed the service. I am sorry it took longer then all of us thought and it delayed your plans last night.

Thanks again,

Matt

Hey everyone, here are some snapshots/highlights from today... First and foremost, a big Happy Birthday to Matt Lemus!!

A bunch of us met up this morning for a short little drive (Sunny, Ron, me, Elden, Jean-Louis). Matt was under the impression that he and I would jump right into working on my car, but boy, was he wrong! Here he is, totally surprised!!

Let the games begin! First was the oil change, then came the gear lube oil. Murphy's law REALLY played a roll here... our original estimate of 1 hr of work translated into multiple layers, turned into like 50%.

Thanks guys, for all your help. I couldn't have done it without you. Matt, hope you had a great day. Happy Birthday!

Bottom line, the car runs smoother then ever... Thanks, again!
