My favorite Orchestra, The Academy of Ancient Music, is comming over from England to do a concert on April 13th at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. They are a great orchestra that I hope to someday play with; they specialize in the historically accurate performance of 18th century music --using old instruments set up the same way they were back 300 years ago. The concert will feature some Italian composers such as Vivaldi, Locatelli, Biber, Geminiani, and then some Handel.
I'm going to be there for sure, just wanted to know if some of you guys might be interested in going to? Maybe we can organize a fun day out of it...Concert Starts at 4, but they always have an interesting lecture beforehand, so many a late morning drive around some backroads in OC and then head up for the concert?
