A friend of mine promotes Midget racing, and runs a team (Performance Racing). He is promoting the April 26 Midget Race (Irwindale Speedway) with the biggest prize money ever (for that event - $50,000). There will be quarter-midget races earlier in the day. This racing is a hoot - very close, very fast, lots of fun.
How about a Southern Cal Ferrari get together? We can arrange for special parking - maybe have a tailgate party. We would have to purchase our own tickets ($25 I believe), but he can arrange for good seats together if we let him know quickly. Quarter midget racing during the morning. Midget race qualifying at 5:00 pm, races begin at 7:00. We could meet at 2:00 or 3:00, have a tailgate party, and go in for the qualifying. What do you think?
