Well, I am back from the go-kart drive in Riverside.
This was quite an experience. It was nothing like I had ever done before, including the Dromo 1 event.
These cars are FAST... about 70 going down the main straight. They gave us instructions, walked us around the track (.7 miles), told us where to brake, what line to take, where to hit it (most of the track) and then let us go.
It was organized by the FCA and hosted by Kevork. There were only about 18 racers.
We had the whole track until 12 pm.
I really recommend doing this, it is unbelievable.
We can organize our own event if we want to or wait unntil the next FCA event but it is worth doing. |
