Thanks Matt, Jonathan, and Byron! I'll look into all of the below. Looking forward to hopefully meeting you guys in the future when I get back to LA at the next F-chat event (on location on a film at the moment).

All the best,
~Chris

It's better than having a garage queen as a backup!

1995 Avus Blue M3... We've had it since Dec'94... my sister drives it on a full-time basis. I've got the old benzo as a beater when my daily driver (348) is out of commission. Upload

Chris,
I asked the same question before... here were a few suggestions:

I usually take my M3 to Gold Star Service in Newport Beach... Ed/Tony are very good... but a bit far from LA.

If you live in North LA county,

You can take it to BenzTech in Santa Clarita. Most of the guys I know take there cars there. If not them then the dealer would be a second choice.

Rob, apologies again for the double-post; just trying to cover my bases - thanks :-)

I'm close to purchasing a 99 BMW M3 and live in Los Angeles. The car I'm looking into is in great shape, but is ready for a lot of maintenance items and needs new brakes/rotors, and other sundry items. I'm just trying to investigate costs, but am also looking for a top certified mechanic I can trust in LA.

Once I find someone I trust, I'm extremely loyal. I've been going to my last mechanic for five years, however for the M3 I'm looking for someone who's a specialist.

Many thanks in advance,
~Chris
