Well, I would be able to come tomorrow since I am doing the thing at the studios early in teh morning (Around 8) in Sudio City. I was planning on driving over and joining you guys but my brother doesnt want to wait around LA for 5 hours until we meet up with you guys so I gotta take him home. He is driving with me so either I send him home in a cab or I wait in LA with no car  I doubt Ill drive all the way back up to LA after I bring him home so I think ill just miss this one. Have fun looking though! One of these days Ill make it up there sicne Ive been dying to see Heritage for a while As far as Sunday, im not sure. Thats a pretty busy weekend for me. About what time will you guys be meeting at Heritage Classics? If I can get him to change his mind I might just meet you guys there instead of JL's house. Probably wont work out though... | ||

Not sure Matt. It all depends on what time Weldon wants us to meet him at the Studios and Im not yet sure what time he is working...Can you e-mail me your cell phone number and Ill either let you know on the forum tomorrow or as soon as possible or call you Saturday if its short notice. My brother and I might just stop by Heritage anyway and if we run into you guys we can hang out for a bit but im not sure what time we will be out there quite yet. | ||

Well then it looks like it will have to be a 348 SS or 355B. Unless you just want to buy a cheaper car like a Mondial and save up the money. Id also consider a TR. Those would be fun | ||

I would get a classic 12 and just save up money for expenses. How about a 330? Symbolic had that nice one...Since it doesnt have to be a daily driver I would get something that you could stand having a few problems with. For the 348s, I have been seeing a lot of Series Specials floating around lately so thats always possible but I would get a 335B over one. If your still interested in Lamborghini, get a Countach. Shouldnt be hard to find one for 85k. Ive even seen diablos in the low to mid 90s if you want to stretch a little bit. Check out vipers too...I dont know how you feel about Porsches now, but you could get a fun 911 Carrera RS adn that would be a perfect track/weekend car. Ive seen them go from 65-75k. An earlier Aston Martin DB7 would work but those are too...luxurious. I dont know how well you could beat those up on the weekend. Or if all else fails...I do accept cash donations. You have my address Edit: I forgot to add, You could always get one of my favorites. 356 Speedster! Not fast at all...but some nice open air PCH cruising fun for the weekends. | ||

I tried to get Marty's 360 but it looks like a pipe dream until I can get 32k for the 308. Needless to say I am looking for a replacement for the boxer since I sold it to buy Marty's car. What would you buy with 85k? I am not looking for a daily since I have the 308 for that. I am looking for a "special" car. I love the 70's and early 80's cars. If I get a newer car like a 348 or 355, It would have to be like a Series Special for the 348 or something along those lines. I am not intrested in the run of the mill 348,355 kinda cars. I am going to look at a couple of BBi's on Sat afternoon. Suggestions? |
