LMAO, Matt...! i just turned down an incredible offer to go to Salt Lake City; i'd hate to turn down another... Unfortunately, i must... Having a new (used) transmission rebuilt for my car and that's going to greatly-sponge the little 'play money' i have (or used to have)... i need to save up for my trip in July and i haven't even began preparing for my trip in October... What i really need is FCA or FNA to hire me as a "Professional Enthusiast" , then i'd be able to make it to all of your events... Sorry, i grind my teeth, as i regretfully must decline (another) generous offer from 'The Don'... Thank you, though. | ||

If i ever moved out there, i'd have to drive across the country... i know there's so much in between the coasts that's so beautiful and i've never seen it... i really want to do that, at some point... i just felt so at home the first time i was in California; i just knew from that first second that that's where i belong... So i told my boss about the trip the other day and he got nervous... "You're coming back, right...? You sure it's a round-trip ticket...?" He's fully aware that i'd rather be in California than NY... Every chance i get, i tell him he should branch out, go public and have a west coast location and i'd work out there... No go... This is my third trip to California since i've been here... Ron, pizza or a BBQ sounds like a great idea, but it would be my pleasure if you guys would let me take you all out to dinner while i'm out there... You guys are really awesome, i'm so stoked... I have offerred in earlier posts and in our private emails over the last couple of days to let DES stay at our house for the weekend. He can ride with me to the drive (actually drive to the drive). We could also schedule a BBQ or pizza or some other dinner at my house on Saturday night for everyone. Naturally the pool and spa will be available too. I am looking forward to his visit. | ||

I got confirmation that Dan "DES" is coming to the Launch July 12th of the Ferrari Driving Club Departing 4:50PM EST 7/11/03 from JFK American Airlines Flight #: 241 Will arrive in Long Beach Municipal @ 7:37 PST Departing 9:30PM PST from Long Beach Municipal American Airlines Flight #: 294 We need to find him a place to stay. I will pick him up from the airport on Friday and pick him up on Sat for the launch and drive. He needs something to do Sat Night and Sunday afternoon and evening. Suggestions? |
