Angel's flight is a drive in the Angeles Crest Mountains, put on by Cali Concours d' Automobile and the Maserati club. It is the day before the Long Beach concours, I believe that would be May 31. It ends in Pasadena for lunch. Limited to 85 cars, Ferrari, Lamboghini, and Maserati only. Includes lunch for $45. For more info, call Maurice Khawan at 562.429.7151 or visit www.calconcours.com. This info from the FCA newsletter. |

The Angel's Flight in downtown Los Angeles (Bunker Hill) is NOT in operation at this time. It was closed after a death during an accident last year, and it has been said that it is doubtful that it will ever re-open. |

If I am not mistaken Angels Flight is kinda like a San Franciso trolley Train in Downtown los Angeles, that takes you from the top of a hill to the bottom of the hill. The whole ride lasts about 1 minute and you are going pretty slow. Its neat in the fact that it has been there for 100 years. last ytear it broke down and they had to repair it. IT is in a pretty bad part of town. my 2.5 cents jlm |
