Welcome aboard Simon. All the guys here are great. How ever, from time to time, we do have some knock down drag out fights, but hey, boys will be boys. |

Ahh... you know what... I still have my E36 M3... last track experience was on Big Willow... loved it! Stock setup with chip, intake, and exhaust... Can't wait to take the 348 CH out there... |

Simon, thanks. Yes, I track the 550 often here in Texas, when the weather is cool (fall & winter). And yes, for a 4000 lb beast, it feels & drives much smaller than it is. Sure goes through tires fast, however. I may need to get a separate set of track wheels/tires for it, as I have for the M3. |

Byron: good meeting you as well. I'm sure we will see more of one another in the near future. By the way, I have a pretty extensive background in technology (I run mbworld.org), so if I can be of help at all with FerrariDrivingClub.com, just let me know. Dave: Hey, if anything, I'm first and foremost an E36 M3 track junkie (shhh)! A prep'd E36 is really one of my absolute favorite cars to drive...especially when you are passing a 360 or 996 through turn 9 at Willow I think Jeff is working with one of my guys on the header. It's really a great setup, along with our pulleys. I have it on my E36 M3 and the dyno numbers were really impressive. Keep me posted and let me know if I can assist at all! And by the way, our Maranello is only a '99 Have you had yours on the track yet? I had a 575M out at Willow recently (first time with a Maranello on track) and I was SO impressed with how well this big car behaves...love the power! TomD: Yeah, I sort of figured the general consensus was to tease Matt. Oh well, I can't be odd man out here, so I'll have to join you! Simon |

Simon, you may know a friend of mine, Jeff Abel. We both live in Austin, Texas, and are both E36 M3 track junkies. I am waiting to see how he does with your Evosport tuned headers for the M3, to decide if they are right for me as well. Like you, I also have a 2000 Maranello, too. |

Matt, Can you give me the details for this Sunday. I will try to make it, though I have morning plans and I'm supposed to attend the Jack Croul's Garage Tour with FCA. Do you guys have any other dates set for the near future? Definitely want to attend your functions. Thanks! Simon |

Just wanted to introduce myself. Found out about this site at a recent FCA Board Meeting from some of the guys from the FerrariDrivingClub. I'm glad to see there is an active Ferrari forum! I've been doing lots of runs and drives with the BMW and Mercedes groups, and will be out with the Malibu Rat Pack Ferrari group (May 4). I do a lot of instruction at Willow for many of the local 360 Challenge and Porsche racers, so I have lots of seat time in the 360 Challenge and some in the 360 GT. Just got back from a trip to Germany and Italy. Dropped my Maranello, of course, and got the chance to see several Enzo's on the assembly line as well as wet track testing of the F1 cars at Fiorano. Also dropped by Pagani to check up on a Zonda Le Mans car being built for a local client. Great trip! Look forward to seeing some of you out on the road/track, or helping provide for good info on this forum! Simon | evosport
