Ok, finaly purchased a 1991 348ts, Silver, from Steve Harris Imports in Utah, the car should arrive here in Los Angeles, Tuesday July 1st.
I used to have Grundy/Chubb insurance, I still have the policy but when I totaled my 328gts, they did try to get out of paying the claim, by stating that the car could only be driven in club events and "parades". What the @*&#, got a lawyer and he took care of that, does anyone have the same deal with Grundy/Chubb? Cant wait till the next drive you guys have in the Southern California area. I will be there.

Albert,

I have a friend who owns Pacific Automotive Group who has a white 348ts as his personal car. He knows the history of the whole car. Call him if you are interested (805)641-9545 or try [email protected]

Tell him I referred you. He/car is located in Ventura

A 348 in need of a 30 k check up. That poor car is not on the road much. Sad.

348's rule... esp over 308's!!! (j/k)

Albert... it's a personal preference, in my opinion. I've heard that 328's are one of the most reliable ferrari's out there, but that's not to say that a well-maintained 348 can't run just as problem free. Go for the 348... you will love the change!

Don,
I am looking for the brighter silver color, I think FNA calls its Argento? I have recently subsrived to the Ferrari Market Letter also.
Thanks for all your help, I have been reading this post for about a year now, I cant wait to go on one of your drives, especially when I replace my 328. I keep hearing what a bad rap some 348's have, if well maintained are they as
reliable as a 328?

I saw that 348 Spider in Redondo Beach, it was very very clean with 16K on the odometer, in need of a 30K service and he would of took 65K.
I just think they are more of a boulevard cruiser, sorry to offend anyone with a spider but I really like the lines of a ts or gts much better then a spider. By the way I did call about the 328 in the LA Times, its resale Red with Tan interior, if anyone outhere is looking for RED.... My search continues...

Thanks for the info on the 328 in LA Times, I will call and find out about it, maybe its silver.
It took me a long time to find a clean silver 328, bought it 2.5 years ago at Symbolic in La Jollay, it was clean. I also thought about an NSX, nice cars, especially when you get above 6000 rpm!!!

Albert... sorry to hear about your car... those kinds of stories are always tough to swallow. I had my silver NSX totaled a little over a year ago b/c some idiot fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended me!!

I'm sure you'll find a replacement soon enough... we'll keep an eye out for a good one for ya. ;)

There is an ad currently running in the LA Times...

"88 328GTS 16K miles, xint cond, full service, $53,000, [ICNLIFE] PP, 949-248-4970"

I don't know anything about this car, just reprinting the ad.

About 3 months ago, I had the misfortune of having someone make a left in front of me. Unfortunately for me, my 1987 328GTS was totaled.
Grundy was not all that I expected but they did finaly pay off the loss. I am looking for a replacement, 328gts, Silver, or perhaps a 348ts again Silver in the Southern California area, anyonee outhere know of any available?
