Just my two cents, I just put four kumhos on my '98 mustang cobra (498 rwhp) and they are the best tires ive had except the pilot sports.

Thanks for the sympathy, I basically bought this car for the track so it is all part of the game. Did you get a new car yet? You can come to the track with us if you would like.

jgd- The michelin pilot sports and s02a's are available for the 360 in OE replacement sizes; IMO, the s02 is a better (all around) tire than the pilot sport, again IMO.

I run Bridgestone S02's which are a great upgrade if they are available in the proper size, They are very soft so have limited wear, But are a phenomenal tire, If you are local try By Design Automotive Group on Robertson 310.559.9670 ask for Sam they have a lot of knowledge when it comes to tires and wheels (Ferrari and Porsche)

Jason,

I would agree if we were talking about a civic with suspension mods, but for a 360? Why skimp couple hundred bucks on tires when we're talking about a 6 digit vehicle? The MX are very good tires for the money but don't match the performance of S03's or T/A KD's (not sure how they stack up against the pzero's). If it were MY 360 I definately would not be runing Kuhmo's on it :-).

Jason- I buy about 3-4 sets of tires/year, so I speak from experience. Look up your tire size on: www.tirerack.com and have your local discount tire match the price, and make sure to have them INCLUDE mounting & balancing, otherwise they'll try and milk you for the extra $20/tire. They'll do it, no worries. Good luck. I'd reccomend you try the new Kumho Ecsta MX. I've heard nothing but good about them, and they're a fraction of the pzeros. Best Regards, Hubert.

Jason- I just call a couple of discount tire centers, and who ever wants to give me the best price, I go with. They ahve a pretty good warranty program so if anything goes wrong with the tire- they will pro-rate the replacement. I recently used the one in Santa Monicanear 26th street. They did an a1 job

Why Pzero's? S03 pole positions and BFG T/A KD (warning these are a lil noisy) make much better upgrades to the factory tires. The BFG's are the most incredible street tires ever and offer tenacious grip similar to that of Yokohama A032's which are R compound. The S03's are a much more tame tire similar to the Pzero but definately better then the pzero in every way. www.tirerack.com is a great place to buy em. There is an America's Tire Company here in Woodland hills that offers fantastic service and care and will mount any tire you bring them. I had them mount a 295/30/18 (pain in the butt to mount a 30 profile) tire on a $6000 set of reverse drop center kenisis racing wheels and they did it without a scratch. Hope that offers any insight!

Jason,
I think the cheapest place for performance tires is www.tirerack.com. They are a mail order company and you can have them ship it directly to a reputable installer.

Jason,

Do not go to a dealer for tires in California. Way too much money.

Discount Tires can order them for you. Jean Louis took his 348 Spider there and replaced his tires. I believe one is local to you in BH. I will call JL and have him chime in on this for a location for you.

I need to replace my tires (Pirelli PZero's)...Where's the best place/price for tyres in LA...Do you guys go to tire fitment shops, or do you just pay the dealer to do it (i've got to believe that's an expensive option)

Many Thanks
Jason
