>> Is it movable?

Kinda... its not on rollers; if that's what you mean. It sets flat on the floor. There are 4 locating anchors (studs in the concrete) that keep it from sliding around.

But, if you take the anchor nuts off and jack it up onto 4 dollies that clear the anchor studs ( about 2" tall ) you could move it. That's how I drilled the anchor holes in the concrete :-)

It is pretty heavy.

I have one of the scissor jacks in my garage. I really like the "no-post" design. It really takes up no extra room; even when a car is not parked on it. it is nearly flat. Raise it 3 feet and its a workbench :-) It could be completely flat if the concrete slab had pockets for it.

The total lift is right about at 6 feet.

I leave the Daytona parked on it all the time.

The ramps were the perfect size to keep the Daytona's exhaust from scraping as it crested the driveway comming into the garage.

I have the 7x version. Got it for about $2700.00 delivered. So far, no problems.

Adam,

Have you had any issues with it?

I bought a power washer tonight. I spent the last 2 hours washing things out front :-)

I think if I paid $3000 and could only lift my car to shoulder height I would be a little disapointed. Thats too short to be able to stand up and work but thats too high to be on your back. Sounds like any underwork would put you in a crouch? EEEK Not exactly ideal.

I believe there are scissors lifts for around $2000-3000 that will lift the car with the ability to take the wheels off. The usually don't lift that high (shoulder height?), and you can't park a car underneath. But sounds good to service your car.

Oneday...

to really work on any midengine Ferrari you really need a lift that allows you to have all the wheels off. My garage is too low so I use jack stands which work OK but a 2 post lift would sure help!!!

matt

on these types of lifts I have seen people get a tall jack which can then be used to lift the tires one at a time for brake work while the car is up in the air. in normall garages - 9 to 10 feet height you need to raise the opener and garage door track to run along the ceileing as opposed to 3 or four feet off the ceiling

less than 30 days from order to installation, They sub-contracted the installation to a specialist, but they coordinated the whole process. is was a pretty easy experience.

They do have drip pans, and an optional removable solid deck for parking.

no way to take the wheels of while it is on the lift.

the most difficult part was making sure that I had enough clearance in the garage, and finding a contractor to do the modifications to my garage door that was needed to gie me some more height.

Adam,

Did they do the installation?

What was the turn around time from order to install?

I remember seeing pic's with the 360 on the top. Are there drip pans and the ability to take the wheels off the car while it is on the lift?

What kind of lift are you guys thinking of getting?

I've been looking at them for my garage, seems like a two post would be best.
