Bart, I had the same problem. Solved it by using my handheld GPS that I keep in the boat as a backup. Its accurate to ~ 1 mph and I had my son read off the speed as we cruised down the 55. BTW mine was just about spot on from 25 through 125 MPH. HTH Scott

Bart, a dyno test would verify how off your speedo is usual cost is $75 it would even test the torque and hp there is a dyno shop at Gardena, north of orange county i'll get you the name and address if you're intersted - i don't have it readily in hand |

If you are a member of AAA, I know they do it from time to time. They have a mobile unit that travels from town to town. |

Where can I get my speedometer verified? Even is it is off by only 5 %, it can be costly on many ways. I am looking for a place in Orange County, California, U. S. of A..
