Any radiator shop should be able to clean it. While the are cleaning it, that would be a good time to replace the two hoses going to the thermo housing and the two under the air intake.

I just did both last week.

Remove it. Weld hole. Clean it up. Repaint. Put back.

Perhaps you can try Ferrari of UK. Matt has had some good luck finding replacement parts from them for his 308.

Hello,
I was wondering what to do about rust in my 79 308GTB Collant Res. Tank (located beside the engine)? It got so bad that it ate through the wall and developed a hole. Does anyone have a suggestion? I guess you can't buy them as a replacement anymore, according to Ferrari of O.C.
Thanks, Chris.
