Bart did you say Fiat, :-)
I hope you guys did not forget about Enron fleecing us just last year, I am pretty sure a large chunk of our money went to unsrupulous energy speculators, who haven't even been charged yet. Most of the vehicle tax money goes to law enforcement etc, for cities and counties so I am not that happy as a Ferrari driver.

Maybe arnold will terminate them. :-)

Brad,

He (King Davis) is saying his "Finance Division" made the decision, not him.

This will be the last straw for Californians. This dickhead is going to get recalled and this stupid increase will be rescinded. How could Californians be so stupid as to elect Davis (and then re-elect him)? He inherited a surplus and now has a $38 billion deficit.

Today, my governor by fiat raise the auto regs fee by a factor of three. I was lucky. I paid my beast Calif. tags last month. Next year it will be around $2,500. Rats.

The good news is, we, the people, will be paying more money to the state government which is the way it should be. No vote just by fiat by Mr. Davis.

This should help more people buy an F-car.
