Bart - that was a 250 Tour De France (TDF). Tino - one of the Boxers was me. Nice Dino. See you there Saturday. Better get there around 7:15 if you want to park in the main row. Everyone leaves by 9:00 am. My home is 1 mile away in North Laguna. Jim S. |

I was there this weekend. Didn't realize there were going to be other Fchatters. What a great show. I got there around 8:30, and the place was packed. Everything from old american iron, to italian, english, german cars. By 9:00, lots of people leaving. I need to get there more often, but waking up early on the weekends is hard to do. Dom

Thanks, I would love a 360 but I think a 355 will be more in my budget. A spider hopefully. Prices on Ferrari's are depressed a bit just like Porsches. The 01'and 02' Turbo's are really getting slammed. Mine is one of 176 so they have held up a bit better. If I only had waited a year I would have saved a ton!

The dirty silver 550 was mine. I left around 8:30 for home. Man, it was great. In order to get a good parking space you should be there by 6:45; the time I got there. It filled up quickly. |

Bart,I was there with my 360 (parked close to a beautiful 575 in Fiorano red and two-tone tan interior. Did not see a black Daytona, but a nice black C4. I counted three BB's, a red 246,a green 355B and a titanium 550 plus a couple of red 328's. This is my second visit. The show ends at 9am as a courtesy to the businesses there., so you should show up as early as 7am to get a good place to park. Maybe we should have an FChatter meet next Saturday and bunch up for parking. I took my time checking cars today and there's some amazing stuff there. |

WOW! I just returned from Newport Beach. There were over 200 cars, maybe even 300. The oldest I saw was a 1912 Hudson, which had wooden wheels. The owner said the top safe speed was 40 mph. The newest were three Lotus Elises (sp). I was told they are not legal in the country yet but were working on it. There was a little bit of everything, from Hotrods to muscle cars of the 60s & 70s. Parked next to me was a Ferrari 250 GT. The engine was a V-12 with 6 2-barrel Webers. The driver told me it was not his car. He was a detailer and the owner did not drive so the owner allowed the detailer to drive it to the show. Gee, nice guy. I counted only two 575s, no 360s, a F355, a 512BBi,a few 308s, 328s, & 348s & a nice Daytona. Mine was the only 550 I saw. There were many Cobras as well as Mustangs from the 60s & 70s. Jaguars, MGA, TR3, and even a Sunbeam Tiger. Woodies, Corvettes from the 50s to today. If you want to see just about everything, this is the place to go. There were even to different types of amphibian cars. My son like these funny things. Everyone was very nice and would explain anything to could ask. I will post the pictures after I get my son to put them up.

Has anyone gone down to the Crystal Cove "car show" at the Crystal Cove Promenade. It's on Pacific Coast Highway just past Newport Beach. A bunch of guys get together on Saturday mornings (around 7:00am) and show off there Cars. There are about 200-250 cars. It's not really a show. People just come down hang out and B.S. about all sorts of cars. Alot of hotrods classics and always 5 - 10 Ferraris. People start leaving around 8:30am. IT'S DEFINITLEY WORTH GOING TO!!!! Has anyone gone?? If anyone goes, Post what you think. |
