LOL, Bart, that's a huge honor, thank you...! i could never ask anyone something like that, but i hope your offer stands if and when i ever make it back out there - i'd love to drive a 550...! Not sure if you read the threads in General Discussion, but i had the tremendous honor and opportunity of driving TWO Ferraris that Saturday; Ron Shirley's gorgeous Mondial and Bob Callahan's feisty 355 spider. Ironic as it is, my suit case was sitting next Matt's car - which was next to your car; inside it was the magazine whose cover boasted a story on the Mosler MT900 Photon - i brought the magazine out there for you and it was right there and i forgot to give it to you. I am sorry. I did not know you had not driven any Ferrari. If I would have known or you would have asked me that day, I would have had you drive the big brother of street cars, the 550. Oh, well. Maybe next time and I hope there is another next time. |
