Yikes, Bart... I might be doing the same repair on my 348 soon. $6500?

Btw, did you ever get that whole dash issue resolved? Did you chase down that detailer?

Mine is a 97 (#108108) and about 3,000 miles ago I spend $6,500 for a few things like the bearings on one of the cams. Yipes!

My service is from an old friend in Orange (Ferrari Technologies). If you can get a 550, do it.

What year is yours? any years to avoid? I thiik I will still keep the 360 as I like to have the convertible for weekends.

Exotic performance plus has a 97 euro with 18K for 92K, any comments?

Bart - congrats on the miles! Great to hear about driven 550s. How many belt changes has the car had? Where do you service your car? How much and what was your biggest service bill? The 30,000 mile?

I agree with the parking comment. You can't valet and you gotta hunt for the biggest spot around. Gotta worry about clowns wielding their car doors like weapons. I cringe when I see the ole "throw the door open with max force" without looking routine.

My 550 is the sweetest thing I have ever driven. It is so much fun on the Southern California Freeways which I drive. Traffic does not bother me as I have driven much on the freeway.
The 550 is NOT cheap to keep it up.

The only problem is parking it where it is safe.

Oh, well, go for it.

Bart, I am thinking of selling a couple of my cars and getting a 550 as a daily driver. What do you think?

My sweet little 550 just hit 40,000 miles. I guess I should not call it a garage queen.
