Nah man, it did not have the Hemi hum, and was not towing anything. I was looking into a quad cab + dodge v-10 (designed by lambo as rumor has it) with hennessey extras, becasue of all the photogear i lug to and from shoots, plus trailers for cars. either way a Ferrari motor in the ram is quite the conversion. would sound great if i could have heard it. then again that may be indicative of a ferrari motor at speed vs mopar. |

Tim, Could it be the new Dodge with a Hemi? That would surely sound different than the original motor. Was the car towing anything? It's always possible that it belongs to one of the local exotic car shops to use as tow vehicle.

I was cruising out of Beverly Hills Sunday evening headed south to LAX, I saw a black Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a hard Scuderia emblem (not a sticker) and side pipes. Black on black. Truck did not sound like the coarse low-rev Dodge Ram motor. Could it be, an F-motor in a truck? You would have been staring at the back of my buddy's Laforza with a roof rack full of racing bikes. We never got the plate #. |
