Steve, I know Viterbo well and love the area around Bracciano and the other lakes. Anna has friends around there so we'll definitely investigate the properties; thanks for the pointer! Are you joining us at Nurburgring in June? Anyway see you soon. A presto, Amar |

sorry it's taken so long (limited access/time still)My girlfriend is from the Viterbo province of Lazio , you probably drove through it Amar over the new year , it's north of Rome 30 minutes from the Aquapendante roads to Siena/Florence , arguably some of the best , fastest flowing , quality roads in Italy. There are many small hilltop villages in this region , what to look for is a casa de campo , house on the land , some need restoring but are usually well priced with lots of land . Pay about 100,00 for something that needs a little work , about the price of a parking space in London eh Amar!Spend another 20'000 and you could have yourself a luxury pad ! To take it to an extream i found a small VILLAGE for sale 6 cottages needing admitedly full restructure but hay , can't complain for 17,000 , Yes you did read that right! |

Hi Steve, Me too - let me know where this great place outside Rome is! And any other nice places you know in Italy. My girlfriend is Italian too and from Rome and we are thinking of buying a home nearby; we have also started thinking about moving to Italy in the next year or two, so would love any ideas. Thanks!! And let me know the next time you're in the UK. Ciao, Amar |

Germany is at an all time low. I have no idea about Marbella. I think in Mallorca you can buy some cheap RE right now, since siome of the Germans should be abandoning these Fincas they bought a few years back. Talk to Ross Koller about that. We had a nice conversation in my office a few days back. I think he is back in London.

Hows the market now say around Marbella Spain or Paris ? If the Bush dividend tax cut passes it may become time for a look, Sucks that the euro is going up or is the USD plummeting ? |
