Sounds like fun

It could be nice to arrange a get-together during the Ferraridays in Spa. I expect that the decision about the 328 will be made within the next couple of weeks. If I have the car I will contact Francorchamps for tickets and you guys about the get-together.

Bart, good luck on your choice.

Amar,

I have to choose between 3 cars, 360 F1 red, 360 F1 Silver, 360 Spider red. The red coupe is from Francorchamps (but their price for my 996 is not good enough "yet")

April is a slow month?

William, we have the National Meet of the FCA here in Sebring. Did you not register yet?

Munich:
drink lots of beer :-), this is really a year-round sport.

Paris:
great time for sight seeing. The spring is wonderful in Paris.

Spain:
No people yet. Marbella is something you have to experience in June/July when the place is packed.

Hi Bart, did I understand from your post you may order a 360 from Garage Francorchamps soon? If so, congratulations! Yes I can help arrange the tickets for Spa as soon as we know the numbers.

The Spa Ferrari weekend is April 25-27 this year and is packed with all kinds of races, so the opportunities to use the track are best before or after the weekend. My source for information, track access and invitation/tickets is the Belgian Ferrari importer Garage Francorchamps (+32 2 725 6760); tickets are easily available.

Maybe we can organise a mini-meeting then!

Ton,

Look at:
http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/183289.html?1042229993

Quite desastrous at the moment! Hope everything gets well nevertheless since I bought a Tubi, test pipes and K&N air filters which havent been installed yet.
Lets wait and see. Will transfer the car to Frankfurt this week to a good independent shop Martin recommended me.
Lets wait and pray its something minor...

Wish you a good night and greetings to Belgium!

Con saluti cordialissimi,
Jens Haller

P.S. Whats about your 328GTS? Found anything worth the try? Its hard to find the perfect car but you have to keep on trying!

Jens,

What is the problem with your car?

Bart,

Do you need an invitation for the Ferrari Days at Francorchamps? If yes, how do you get them?

Bart,

Could you keep us updated about the time of the event? Would love to attend if my car runs again till then.
Most important question:
Can you do laps at the event because I really love Spa and think it is one of the most enjoyable courses ever. Eau Rouge is just pure pleasure! :-) :-) :-)

William,

You should try Hockenheim Grand Prix circuit. If I remember correctly there is one day per week where you can track the car you bring for a small fee. New track at Hockenheim isnt so fast anymore but I heve heard it is a fun track as well.
Location is near Heidelberg which isnt too far off from Munich (Around 3 hours with a normal car :-))
The car collection Schlumpf is a very famous Collection of Ferraris, Bugattis etc. It is in Mullhouse, France near the german border. Always worth a visit.
See www.collection-schlumpf.com for more infos

William,

Try to avoid Easter weekend, lot's of people travel by airlines and roads in Europe then. Any particular reason you're going to Munich? - If you head over to more western Germany, both Nurburgring and Spa (Belgium) are close by and you'll have a blast in those places with a 512TR! Actually the Spa Ferrari weekend usually gets organised late April and that's a great chance to experience the track, let me know if you want more details and how to get an invite.

If you do head to Munich the mountain roads into Austria or Switzerland (and of course into Italy eventually) are not too far away but maybe you've done them already? Of course the San Marino Grand Prix is on April 20th near Bologna, and Barcelona is May 4th. From what I heard Marbella really only wakes up after May but it depends what you want to do there.

By the way have you considered coming over in March and checking out the Geneva Motor Show - there should be some interesting car launches including the 360 Stradale and Lamborghini Gallardo.

Cheers,
Amar

April is a slow month, thinking of taking 2 weeks to see whats cooking in europe. Probably drop into Paris for a long weekend cus my GF has never been, then maybe head over to Munich to rent a 512TR & go crazy on the autobahn :-) Then maybe shoot down to Marbella Spain & see what the commotion is about.

So what are some cool car things or museums going on in April in europe ? Thanks
