@Jens Hallo Jens, as I've read you join the garage of Mr. Fehr, too. That was one of the best info's I've got from Wolfgang and Heiko. Since my car will be trimmed by Mr. Fehr it is running perfect and without any problems. My former garage was Ferrari Ulrich in Frankfurt. Only three words to it: "Horrible and expensive". Heiko, My 328 has a painted spoiler as well. That is very nice. The reason that I am considering to paint the targa top is because it shows the beautiful line of the Berlinetta combined with the elegance of the targa roof. Ton | ||

Hi Wolfgang, My Spider is beautiful. A 1980 model and I bought it as the third owner in 1985. It was my daily transport through 1992 and was also quite competitive in its class in national Councours d'Elegance. 1995 through 2000 it had an easy life as a weekend car! At the end of 2000 I commenced a total, bottom-up, rebuild. Over an 18 month period it was stipped to bare metal, resprayed, engine rebuilt and everything replaced that had to be replaced. I believe that it must currently be one of THE best 1980 Spider's around. The engine is essentially new, with less than 500 km on the clock. She is stunning!!  I still love my Alfa and won't part with her...but she was just the "vorspeise" for my 328 Cheers, {MARK} | ||

Your car looks great and I'm glad that we have another 308 / 328 in the Euro group Hey - you say that you're an "older guy"...I'm the same age but only feel as old as the car I drive  May passion for Ferrari started at the South African Grand Prix back in 1969 and I eventually bought one for the first time in 2002! Wofgang, The founder of Ferrarichat which is Rob Lay actually lives in Texas. So if you should have a bit of free time at hand when going there you could just shoot him a mail to meet. The Texas section of Ferrarichat is pretty active and they do lots of things so perhaps you are able to attend some kind of Ferrari meet there. Just a thought... I`m in love with Ferrati since the early `70th....but couldn`t afford before I turned 40 years. Fiat is also a great car `cause it comes from Italian! Hey Wolfgang, Also a warm welcome from a Tifosi-guy from Belgium! Currently i don't drive an F-car yet (saving for one!) Meanwhile i'm still learning to drive a rearwheeldrive-car in my Honda S2000 without crashing (not that i ever had a crash!) I read you often go to Maranello! I myself been there only 3 times! Belgium is a bit further away + haven't got much spare time! The last time was in 1999, so it's some time ago! I also drove an Italian car then and it also started with an F, but the rest was: iat (It was a yellow Coup� Fiat Turbo, very fast for a fiat but also very unreliable!!) I have also got a picture of the car in front of the Galleria Ferrari but i can't post it! But i will also be at the nurburgring in June (on saturday only  ) and i'll try to remember to bring some pictures! Are you also comming to Spa the last weekend of April? It's always a great event with lots of races! Have a lot of fun with your nice 308 QV, and hope to meet you to some time! Hello Armar, thanks for your warm welcome & sorry to answer you with a bit delay. I was out on the road driving the Ferrari in the sun. Oh yes, I drive my car as much as I have time. Now the engine has something like 45TSD miles / 72TSD KM on the speedometer. Never ever one problem with my toy! Maranello trip is only a short vaction for 3 days to visit my "mother". I drive every year 2-3 times to Maranello with some friends...not for any reason just as a passion, love, italian food and every other thing I`m missing here. CU at the Nürburgring! Jens, yes of course I know Heiko. He is friend of mine and we drove together a coupel of times. He comes from Heilbronn and rides a 328 GTS. I also know the Baden Württemberg Ferrari Club and some members. There are some great cars & drivers. Lots of fun! I`m contact with the guys and will meet some of them for a trip tomorrow. Jens, no problem! Just give me a call/mail and I will come along to join you and your friends for a trip around the beautiful Bonn. Otherwise I`m very close to the Hockenheim Ring - only 5 km. We are driving with friends (5-7 Ferraris)every sunny weekend around Heidelberg/Karlsruhe/Heilbronn. You and your friends are always very welcome. Wolfgang, With a Ferrari it might be one and a half hours away Perhaps it�s even possible to meet someday before june. Did something like that with Ton from this board last weekend (See "Small FChat meeting Bonn" in european section). It is quite a lot of fun to drive around with several Ferraris and put some faces to names you know from internet. Wolfgang, Great you want to join us for the meeting! Actually I am from Bonn. Quite some way to go to Heidelberg! Such a shame, hoped the number 53345 was the postal zip code and that would have been somewhere around Bonn/Cologne. I will keep you and everybody else updated about the planning for june. You will definitely like this forum: It�s IMO the most active Ferrari forum in the net. Especially the tech section is extremly useful when encountering any troubles. Are you "new" to Ferrari cars or already an "old" expert with these cars? I have my 348tb (See profile!) for over one and a half years now so I am quite new to it... Hallo Jens, thanks a lot for your response and very warm welcome. Yes, I have already read the thread for the meeting in June. I`m looking forward to take part of your meeting! I`m right now planing a trip to the "mother" -MARANELLO- in March. Yes, the wheel are from a 348 with a 50mm lower kit. All else is stock original from March`85. Where does you come from? Hallo Wolfgang, A very warm welcome to Ferrarichat! I am a Ferrari driver from Germany as well. Sadly there are very few from Germany at this board Nice 308 you have got there (With 348 wheels, or not?) See you already took your car to Maranello: Perfect surroundings to shoot some photos with the Ferrari in it. We are planning a little meeting in june. At the moment we have already around 10 Ferraris from UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Germany etc. together. Perhaps you consider to join us as well?
