Andrew - sorry for this delayed response, I was travelling. Megeve should be a great place to see the cars (hopefully less crowded than Monte Carlo or Biarritz since it is small and out of the way), but it's also a charming place to visit. One of my memorable experiences was walking up to a restaurant on top of a nearby hill which has no electricity (we ate by candlelight) and on that clear night seeing the Milky Way's concentrated band of stars in the sky more vividly than I have ever seen anywhere! | ||

Amar , that is the official supercar rally webpage ,the info i got is because i mailed them and their answer was what i wrote earlier ( 24th to 28th September , start in Geneve , etc..). My guess is that they will be in Meg�ve the 25th, Monaco the 26th , Carcassone the 27th and Biarritz the 28th. Meg�ve sounds a cool spot to see them ,as you said , Alpine Roads and Supercars make for an awesome sight . | ||

Andrew, thanks but that URL only points to the 2002 rally and I didn't see any info on the 2003 edition. The pedestrianised square in Megeve centre should have space for 20-40 cars from what I recall (but it's smaller than Place Vendome), and there's also an open parking lot near the Hotel Les Fermes de Marie which is one of the nicest hotels there. Of course Biarritz won't be such a bad place to go in September either! | ||

Amar , here ya go . http://www.supercar-rally.com/ . I dont know where im going to meet the rally but i will definetly try go and see them pass .Just dont know where. I know Megeve is a ski station but do you know if there is a big enough place ( kind of like Place Vendome ) where all the cars could park so its possible to take LOTS of pictures ?  | ||

Jens , you are right ! i checked too and there wont be a Monaco Historical GP this year !  Amar, the Supercar Rally this year will start fron Geneva the 24th of september and it will end in Biarritz the 28th , visiting Meg�ve ,Monaco and Carcassone. Its too bad they wont start from Paris anymore ,i will have to travel to Geneva or to Monaco to see them as its a truly awesome event ! Regards. Andrew | ||

Andrew and Amar, As far as I know the Historical GP in Monaco takes place all two years. Sadly the last one was in 2002 so I fear the next one will be 2004 then! At least that�s what I have read on the Monaco homepage... Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller | ||

Hi Andrew, What are the dates for this in Monaco? Also, do you know the dates for the Paris event where they display all those super cars in Place Vendome? Sorry if you've mentioned them somewhere else, I must have missed it. Thanks, Amar | ||

This is an event i really , really want to experience ! Not only for the historical cars but for supercars that usually go to Mc for this event. Hope i can make it this year if i dont have my exams at that time... |
