Yepz, that's the way to go  I believe for the Spa Ferrari Days Bart Bosmans is already "building" a database of all the people attending that meeting. Sebastian, it's always ok to think along with the chat. About posting phonenumbers etc., it's still a public chat, and you'll never know were your personal information could/will be used for. For me it's not a big thing since I'm just 19, I don't own/know or create anything of importance, so my pers. info is of no use to anybody. But for people with Ferrari's pers. info is IMO too valuable. | ||

Sebastian, I understand that you don't put your mobile number on the internet. I would never do that too! I did not mean to blast your idea away. I understand perfectly well what you mean, but I think that we will also be able to do exactly the same through Fchat. It just needs a little bit more organising. The easiest thing to do is to make a private database with mobile numbers, etc and send those (when requested) to a private mailbox. All the other non-personal information can be spread on Fchat. Well, it was just an idea. I just thought about it when I heard from the meeting on saturday...that did not take place. I'm one of these guys who never will post their cell phone number/location here, that's why I told you about that special account only for approved members with password & stuff...I am able to create such a script for the net. I agree with Bart. We would create a board within a board. I think that Fchat works perfect for meetings. All the data that you mentioned can also be transfered through this board. If we would create a new board it would distract people away from Fchat. just my two cents. Ton | ||

I think that this is already a place like your idea. If anyone is interested in joining a meeting it can always be said, thus creating the possibility to exchange phonenumber etc. via email. When meetings take place, normally it's already arranged in a proper way trough this chat and by email. I think already everybody has each others email adress (and maybe phonenumbers), so meetings can be set-up quit easily. In my personal oppinion it's not needed to create a new "board" for meetings only. But then again, who am I ? | ||

Hi there, Due to the fact that some meetings of the past did not take place because of problems with organization, I had the idea to create a special board only for meetings of F-chat Germany and/or Europe. All people registered there get a special account with their cell phone number, email address, type of car and area where they live. If anyone is interested in planning a meeting, he/she can post a message and all members around can say if there is a way for them to take part or not. So there is a better planning possibility and it's easier to see if there is a better date for the meeting. The only thing you have to do is to register AND to forward this idea to any Ferrari Driver you know. If there are about 50+ members, this could be a great way for a future community as completion.
