yep, there are a lot of dutch people here
it's amazing what kinds of cars are here, not only ferrari's, but unfortunually most of them are regular garage queens.
i know of a 512 TR that lives less then 1 km from here, and the car comes out of the garage a few times a year, that's it, it's a real shame.

also saw a silver 355 today, saw him twice actually

In the south there is Lanaken and in the north/west there is Brasschaat. That is where the (very) well-off Dutch live just at the border.

Ton: Hey! I took that picture on the Adam Ring! Bart was behind the wheel not watching the road and missing exits, hahah.

Dirk: Where do you live? Near monaco? Seriously though, I rarely ever see a Ferrari on the road around here. And the last 3 times I saw one, it was on the highway, and it was going in the opposite direction :-( shame really. *flash* *whoa!* *gone*

Ton, that's so nice of you.
Already heared some great things about you from Roel :-) Hopefully I'll be at the Spa Ferrari Days, already trying to make it a 2 day stay.

It was so cool, normally I wouldn't see a Ferrari in months and now, on our way to the Ferrari Club Nederland meeting we bumped into one :-)

It sure was a day I'd remember (1st F50 in real life :-)). But the Fchat meeting will be a greater experience I think, especially the personal contact with owners is what makes it great.

Well, until we meet again :-)

Groeten Bart

It's very weird, but i tend to see several ferrari's per month
there's even a luxury car dealer about 2-3 km from my house that has 3 ferrari's for sale at the moment: 360, 456, 550

I agree with ton, having had porsches for many years i am amazed with the amount of people who ask me about the 328 (never once been asked about cost)where i live in Scotland there are very few f-cars and the attention it gets is great,it does not bother me in the slightest as i used to be one of them just lucky enough to live theirs and my dream.
best regards
Dave McGuire.
ton,am still looking for that garage but my agents on the case and will let you know what happens about it.

Bart,

I think that it is so cool that you took the pictures of the 348ts on the Ring. I wonder what the owner was thinking when he saw the camera.
btw the offer for a ride still stands.

What I like about owning a Ferrari is sharing the passion with others. I don't mind when people ask me things or take pictures (as long as it is not about the price that I payed for the car). I already took several "passionate" people for a ride. I wish that it was always so easy to make someones day.

Amar, that's great to hear :-)
As long as it's friendly it's ok.

IMO you shouldn't bother the owner, because he's out for his fun only and nothing else. So as long he's cool with it, I'm cool with it :-)

btw. we gave the 348 driver the tumbs up and he returned it, SO cool !

Most dutch Ferrari owners are jerks, feeling to good for the "normal" people, so it was sort of refreshing seeing a relaxed Fcar owner.

Hi Bart,

I have been twice with my 360 in The Netherlands and both times there were other cars hanging all around us on the roads and people coming over to look inside whenever we were parked - always completely natural and free to look everywhere, even stopping us leaving the petrol station because they hadn't yet taken enough photos of the engine bay! Always curious and friendly...

Ciao,
Amar

Wooow, that's great.
Just driving around ? over here we only see a Ferrari once a month orso.
Saturday we "bumped" into a 348ts while driving around the ring Amsterdam, which caused us to miss the exit :-)

Howard,

St Johns Wood is my old neighbourhood and sunny Saturdays usually saw a procession of Ferraris, Lamborghinis etc in the High Street but that's an amazing collection you saw! Do you live around there?

Regards,
Amar
