Hi Mark,

you shouldn't wonder about RF - there is nothing he is not able to do ;-)

He has repaired my side mirror whereas every other garage has told me to replace it with a new one. That has cost me 30,00 only (I have given him 50,00 because I was ashamed about such a lower price ;-))

I hope to see you when you will pick up your car at RF.

With red greetings

Ahhhh!! Wofgang, that's good news!

I'm back from the island and was wondering how Master RF would repair the wing without removing the spoiler!??!

Possible??

By the way, next week I'll fly from Cyprus to Frankfurt and Debra will join me by train from Bonn.

Bis den, MARK

Hi Mark,

it was really a pleasure for me to see you in persona. Don't sorrow about the repairs by Robert Fehr ;-)
I promise you best work by him - I'm standing 100% behind Robert Fehr. He is the best knowledgebase for Ferrari and Lambourghini I have ever met.

When will you get your Ferrari back? Mabye we could meet at Robert Fehr again when you pick up your car.

Hi James,

unfortuanally you will not be able to visit the factory if you do not drive your own ferrari or you know someone you will drive to Maranello.

All visits in Maranello have to be organized by an official dealer or an official Owners-Club.

MUSEUM - too late Im afraid! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!

Hey Ton, I'm writing this from Frankfurt airport at 06h30 - came back from Nigeria two days early as its a little..."intense"...in Lagos! Definitely NOT F-car territory!!

I'm looking forward to getting home!! Tired.

Cheers, MARK

Ton and Mark,

Just looked up their homepage:
www.galleria.ferrari.com
It now says the museum is open every day.
Perhaps they changed the times because you have complained about it so heavily! :-)
Best wishes to you!

Its a great surrounding for vacation - enjoy your trip.

Gian Maria,

I just thought it was special to pick up my first Ferrari at the factory because they do a nice ceremony in which you unveil your car the way they do it with the F1 car unveiling, and I got a specially escorted factory tour by a manager which was longer and more relaxed than a regular tour with groups. And then of course you get to take your car on the fun roads around Maranello which I thought was more interesting than picking it up from the dealer outside London and driving it home at 30 kph!

Of course for the first 1,000 miles you're not supposed to exceed 5000 rpm. But it's a great compensation that you can drive some great roads from there through Switzerland or Germany or France or wherever you're heading (like Eric Clapton, he drove home his new Enzo all the way from Maranello!). And if the F1 team hadn't been testing at Fiorano, I would have been able to take it on the track too.

More than any particular benefits you get in Maranello, I just thought it was a charming way to experience my first Ferrari, one that made it an event to remember...

Ciao,
Amar

Hello Gian Maria,

Ask Amar Inam from this board about the factory pick up! He did it with hid 360.
The Galleria Ferrari is the official Ferrari museum run by the factory. Pretty nice, you can go there nearly every day by buying a ticket althouh I am pretty sure you get a free ticket if you pick up your Fcar at the factory.
I got a free ticket as well when I was attending the F1 presentation this year.
If you are in Maranello you should always visit the usual sites and the Galleria Ferrari is one of them. I would instead also try to arrange the factory tour when you pick up the car: Much more interesting than the Galleria Ferrari, IMO.

Hi1

I was told by my dealer that I can receive my new car directly in the factory in Maranello, if I wish. Has anybody done that? Beside the tour in tha Galleria Ferrari what is special about it?
