I agree with Ton,
Keep it at the board, since the people attending these meets (using the event calender) will be from Fchat aswell.
Maybe we could ask Rob if he could add some sort of a event directory, just like the General discussion etc. |

Hi Ermin,
I would propose a new thread on this board. That way people don't have to leave this board to have a look at the different events. It makes it also easier to communicate about the events.

So what's the conclusion now?
do we use www.ferrariforum.net/events as proposed by djdirk, or should we open a "sticky thread" called "events"? in the latter case we should use this thread only for event information postings and keep all the other postings separated.

basically it's a form that you fill in and that is sended to the owner, who then adds it to the database, usually about 2-3 days later
i'm not sure why andrew doens't let it happen inmediatly, but i'll ask it to him |

Since you are a moderator of Ferrariforum did it get through to you?
Did not fill out the tel number and fax number and got some strange screen reading.

thats a very good idea and I appreciate this kind of calender very much. But pleeeeease lets stay here in this fchat.com!
We have had this questions in the past about meetings and it would split the (growing) community in differnt yahoo or XY.com`s. So: lets open a new thread HERE with an updated list.
Otherwise most meetings (and IMO)the best meetings are smal groups just called them together a few days B4. But I will let you know all the meetings & drives of the Ferrari Club Germany, the Ferrari Club Maranello and Heiko can advice you the drives from our Ferrari Club Baden W�rttemberg.

hi all,
lately i googled around to find ferrari meetings here in europe. it is really hard to find them online. i know from many meetings, which never show up in the internet. these may be public or private.
my idea: let's establish an event calendar (maybe using a yahoo!-group) where everybody who knows from or organizes an event, publishes the details.
so for example if we from the funky ferrari owners switzerland are organizing a nice trip, i would publish it there and all interested ferrari drivers from europe could join.
what do you think about it?
