wolfgang,
unfortunately me and thomas will be the only FFOS members in AdR. the other participants are clients of thomas' garage.

habe geguggt! great.
the chat-room is empty anyway. we are only communicating by messages.

about race tracks...maybe it is not the right time to discuss this issue. however, my thoughts are slightly different. i made up my mind a lot during the last days. nordschleife is not to compare with a regular race track. also on a regular race track i only drive 90/10. for me the track is not a place for pure pedal to the metal, for me it is a save place to learn. when i go to a track, i look carefully about the organization. i have visited once for example dijon (not as driver) and i have seen how the promoter let more than 100 cars on the track. this is unresponsible and i would never drive under such circumstances.

for me the lession one more time is to be more careful and responsible everywhere and everytime, on track and on the public roads.
this does not imply any conclusion to what happened to jens and amar, do not misunderstand me.

Trevi,

the fault happens when I open the CHAT room.
Loading o.k. and then comes the fault.
Anyway, I will ask my computer fuzzy who runs my web-site for me.

About the AdR:
I never ever drive on track-days!
No more Pedal to the Metal!
In this way, what happened to my dear friend Jens & Amar, I changed my life totally.
No, I don`t drive slow but never ever track days and on the road/highway with 90% and 10% reserve.

The reason I`m thinking about to drive to AdR is just to meet you gents for lunch, smal talk, see your cars, to put faces to the posts and to introduce myself.

To put some pics on your board...mhm will try it with my poor knowlege about the PC.

wolfgang,

1. guggsch du hier:
can you tell me, at what event or action the error happens?

2. about the 1:1
would be cool! even if it doesn't help for your score, i'm perfect ;-)
sunday afternoon around 17.00 we will arrive at the hotel kanzel in beblenheim. monday morning 8.00 am we are starting from the hotel to the track. track will be open from 9.00 am until 17.00 pm. as far as i know, there are only around 12 participants (maybe because it's monday), but that means an almost empty track. i just called thomas (theonlyfasty) from garage frey who organizes the event. he told me that you could take part on the track on monday for CHF 550.- (or the equivalent in Euro).
if you just want to drop by, i'm sure we will find a solution to come into the track area. ask thomas in our group.

3. would be nice if you could shortly introduce yourself in our group and file a pic of you and your car.

sorry for my delay answering you a bit late...business as usual in my store.

Yep, I have been on the yahoo site. Oh man, two many questions...( I see no reason to ask for).
Well, will try it again later to sign in.

Of course no Agilo - never ever. We all drive real F cars. See our profiles. And of course my friends are also F. owners.

Please let us know right in time for your meeting and I`m sure we can join your group with a few more Ferraris.

Cool..new members for the FFOS club. You'll see we have a lot of fun driving our italian cars. It's my turn to organise our 3rd FFOS meeting in august. It will be on a weekend and you will find all information on the Yahoo newsboard.

Please feel free to join. We even accept as "guest" non-Ferrari cars. But please, no Opel Agilo or Subura Impreza..hate these cars...LOL...

3200 Euros for that meeting? this is ridiculous. but it's the same here in switzerland, that's the reason that no one of the FFO members is in the official swiss owners club.

you should see the red/yellow group homepage. you should click "Join Group" (blue button), then you come the a sign-in window, if you are not already a yahoo!-member, then check "Sign up now" under the heading "New to Yahoo!". register properly and after that you should be able to join. a request for subscription will then be sent to me and i will approve it then.

let me know, if you have troubles.

Trevi,

thanks a lot for the invitation and I will ask my friends and maybe we can drive together to the Lac Leman (Geneva). A few friends of mine are living in Geneva and I have been there several times doing business.
I love to read:
"there are no obligations, no fees, just a bunch of people driving their cavallinos."
That was my thought when a got a member of the FCD (Ferrari Club Germany) now for me its finished....only money, money, money .a.s.o I (and some more friends of mine)don`t drive to the Baden-Baden event for this reason. As a member of the FCD you pay much more for everything as a guest! For example: 3.200,- euros for 2 persons for 3 1/2 days Baden-Baden meeting.....yes it sucks!
About your link to the FFO site. No way to see something or click, enter. Whats wrong?
Please advice & delight me I would like to see/read more about your club.

the next official trip is planned around didier's place at the wonderful lake of geneva. but it's gonna take a while, didier has to study the maps first LOL!!
so it will be in august ;-)
no, the reason is that andrea's 355 is in repair in italy and will be ready in august.
9th of august, andrea is driving down to tuscany (toskana) on wonderful roads to pick up his ferrari again. everybody is invited to join and i'll do that if i can make it, maybe even with some of my biker friends.

however, wolfgang, you may want to join our group, see http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/funkyferrariowners/ and i'll invite you. the more members we are the higher is the flexibility and creativity in organizing events. there are no obligations, no fees, just a bunch of people driving their cavallinos.

Hard to get back on the thread...but one more questions should be all right?
FFO = Funny Ferrari Drivers
That means: Never forget your passport (there should come a boarder/custom after you forgot some excits) & credit cards (275km/h mmhm) when you are driving.
Let me know about your driving plans for the future, maybe I can join your amazing group for the next drive?

Well, Trevi is always taking off like this everytime he sees my red 360. Upload
I really do not know why so you can imagine that it is impossible to keep up with him and as he takes often the lead during our trips, he is the only one that knows the road. As I do trust him (could that be my mistake ??), I loose track of him and than I'm lost in that big Switzerland surrounded by a lot of mountains.

Last time we went to Germany (Schwarzwald) to do some unlimited speed driving on a piece of German highway. I lost track of Trevi and I didn't know where to leave the highway. I was still speeding to keep up with him but he already left the highway miles ago. After 15min I gave up and turned around (no...NOT on the highway..I'm not THAT stupid..LOL).

Hehe...next time I will look at the map before I start driving around...

Didier.

ok, this is getting weirdly off topic!
btw: i can't see any moves in your clips :-(

to come on topic again:
as an example of what me and didier meant:
on our last FFO-trip to the black forest, we drove on the A81 Singen/Stuttgart. little traffic, so good condition to try the max speed, what i did, the roof open and 275 km/h on the speedo! didier could not keep up, but instead he missed (whatelse???!!!!) the exit Geisingen (if i remember correctly) and we had to wait more than 30 minutes till he showed up again ;-)

Thanks for the welcome words !! I'm coming from Lausanne but the pictures are taking in France close to Chamonix and the Mont-Blanc !

Dirk : hallo ...leuk je hier tegen te komen ! All goes well except that I had a leak in the power steering circuit already after 6000km's but I have been on Monza for 1 day. The car is already 2 weeks in repair because the part had to be ordered. pfff..damn beautiful cars...luckely it will be fixed under guarantee.

The track day on Monza was really very amusing even if we had a crashed 360 Spider. The guy crashed a Maserati on the same place last year also ! I was just driving behind the guy but I did not see the accident. I only saw a destroyed Spider missing the complete front in the middle of the road. No human harm was done. But "nice" doing 240km/h on the straigt line in a convertible..hehe..I must have burned 50% of my tires during the 20 laps and I drove 2 very quick laps with a professional swiss driver. I was screaming after my mother again..boy oh boy..incredible how those cars stick on the ground. I was really afraid for my life and for my car. Unforgettable day with a lot of strong memories...

Didier.
