Craig,

Thanks for the website by the way...that's one I have not seen before. My wife is currently staying in a guest house in Welwyn Garden City and is trying to house-hunt and do her new job at the same time. At the end of the month I finish up in Europe and will then be able to focus on finding a place.

Thanks for your support!

Hey Mark,

found Hertfordshire on the map. Well its just 1/2 hour north of London; preety cool and not so far away. Sometimes (1-2 x a year) I`m over in London doing business. Usual I fly back the same day;-)
So next time we will meet us for those well known British-Beer (The one without any scum/crown which smells & tastes like monkey p...;-)

By the way my dear britsh gents & friends: Its nothing about you or your beautiful GB, I`m realy just kidding
and don`t want to bother you - its just something between Mark and me - and you stil have the best whiskey all over the world!!!

Thanks for your offer - as usual, you are a King (and certainly NOT a Koenig)!!

My posting number 360....this one's for Amar.

Hi Wolfgang!!

He-he!! Yes - I'm moving to the island...BUT you guys must still try to visit before I leave at the end of December!

Now - if anyone there can find me a real restaurant in Hatfield, I will be forever in their debt!! It's a culinary wasteland out there!!

Cheers, MARK

Hi Craig,

I also have a bike - a BMW R80GS with a PD conversion. Damn - that Maserati is nice! Prefer it to the latest model. I was drooling over them at Meridien Modena on Friday!

I hope we can get together for both 2- and 4-wheel fun.

Cheers, MARK

Mark,
I'm getting a 2001 Maserati 3200GTA, silver with bordeaux red leather, sports suspension and a few other extras. Since I got a motorbike I'm not using the Ferrari enough & need 4 seats to ferry girlfriend and our son around on weekends.

I was very very sad to see the f car go on the weekend but I sold it to a very nice guy who looked very pleased. The Maserati suits my needs better at the moment. Hope I'm still welcome here!

Hi All,

I will be a neighbour soon, hopefully within the coming weeks. My car is currently in storage in Lincoln (after a LONG drive from Central Europe last weekend). My wife is working in Hatfield and we are looking to rent or buy a place in Hertfordshire...probably in the St Albans - Harpendenden - Welyn triangle as I will have to commute to the city every day. Any property leads would be much appreciated...two full-size lock-up garages essential!!

I look forward to meeting you all in St Albans.

Regards, MARK

Simon,

Something I forgot to mention. Paul Hill, who mentioned me earlier and who is also a FerrariChat sponsor, makes some great accessories for Ferraris and is an enthusiastic 348 owner also. As you can imagine a lot of the items are 348 specific :-)

Check out his site at http://www.hill-engineering.co.uk/ferrari.htm

The products he sells are very good quality and we (Hertfordshire Ferrari) recommend them to our members, although I must declare an interest here as I act as a distibutor for Hill Engineering products.

There is also an small discount we are able to offer to FOC members so if you want to buy, have your FOC membership card ready and contact either Paul or myself and mention you are an FOC member.

Hi Simon

I am Simon Campbell and I am area group organiser for the Hertfordshire group of the Ferrari Owners Club. We have meetings every 2nd Wednesday of the month in St Albans, you just missed one I'm afraid, next is on the 10th September. Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested and I will send you details. You don't need to be an FOC member to come along but we would ask you join if you become a regular. We usually have 20-30 owners turn up with cars ranging from 308GT4 through 355 to F40. A good cross section and some really nice people.

We also hold some events throughout the year such as trips to France, race meetings, lunches and dinners etc.

Do try and join us. We are a very relaxed and enthusiastic crowd and always welcome new owners.

Simon

PS - I am away on vacation for two weeks from tonight. Lets try and make contact at the begining of September.

Hi Simon & Welcome!

The best place to start is the Ferrari owners club

http://www.ferrariownersclub.co.uk/

It is worthwhile joining as you get all the details of every event in the country.

Only last week I went to the track day at Brands Hatch and caught up with a few people I had chatted to but had never met.

The Area Chairman for your region is a gentleman by the name of Simon Campbell - He posts on here as well.

Hope this helps - Nice 348 as well!

Paul
