the weather was not so good the first half of the day, but the rest of the day was ok. i could drive home from nürburg to switzerland with the roof open.

What a day!!!!!
What a pleasure to meet you all for such a great weekend. Thanks to everybody!
We have been at home at 21:00 p.m. Yes, we drove the Corso which started at least at 18:00 p.m.
But it wasn`t a corso;-) We drove so f*** fast around the track with 30 other F.-drivers amazing.
I swore you, it was a real race....and not a corso!
I`m just working on the pics and will post them with a smal story during today.
I`m going to split them in several parts, so please wait a few hours.

My wife and I will pick you up guys in the Adler-Hotel lobby around 19:20. Heiko is in the same Hotel with the tyre guys. They will be back from the Hockenheim Ring right in time for dinner.

I`m still working to enlarge our convoy to the Nürburgring - and it works!
Now we are:

...and I` m still working and I try harder to get 20 cars together.

I would like to wake up everybody who has not yet signed in for the Ferrari Drive to the Nürburgring.
Here is a pic from the Racing Days last year we have been, same place, over 400 Ferraris! And I`m sure "The Michael Schumacher Day" this event can beat it!

Hello Uwe!!
Long time no see - how is your new MB and what's up with your red car? Back at RF??
I had to have minor repairs done to my car when I got to the UK as a high tension cable to the distributor (around the back of the engine) had slipped down onto the exhaust and melted through. So, I was down to 7 cylinders again!! The story of my life!!
Anyway, that's done and the car also has new headlight lenses (for the UK) and a one year TUV/MOT certificate. She is now safely in storage (at a secret location) until I physically relocate at the end of December.
Work?? I am busy handing over to my successor - only three weeks to go!!

I few minutes ago a good friend of Wolfgang and me has called me (Martin).
So therefore we will arrive actually with three cars:

Another member of the FCD (Tim (F 308 Spyder)) will drive alone because he as to be at the Nürburgring at 09:00 pm because he joins the "Gleichmäßigkeitsprüfung"

I know you went through a stressful patch recently. It's good to see that you've come through OK!! Hey...you still need to let me know what I owe you for the gas struts!! They are installed and working just fine. Actually, it's now difficult to close the engine lid and I really have to bash it to get the right side latch to take hold.
