Thanks Justyn, This Friday's my farewell party in Prague. I predict a monumental hangover on Saturday morning....I won't be going anywhere! Steve, Welcome to the local bunch of F owners. I see you're up for a bite to eat with Justyn and me next Saturday (weather permitting of course) It will be great to meet you and your wife and have a pint together. Shame you missed Newstead Abbey, it was a great gathering. I see I'll be the one with the oldest model there again. Never mind, you know what they say, fashions fade but style is timeless. Hi Steve, I live in Derby and have a 348 (see the photo in my profile). I travelled to Newstead in convoy with a 308 owner I know called Mick from Notts. We are planning on meeting for a pint on Saturday 27th Sept (lunchtime) at a country pub in Derby - weather permitting. You are welcome to come and join us if you would like to. Justyn, I live just down the road from Newstead Abbey, in Mansfield Notts, I didn't know there was a meet at the Abbey or else I definately would have gone, Where in Derbyshire are you, I was born not far from Chesterfield and regularly drive the 328 down to Matlock ? Regards, Steve | ||

I have just found out from the FOC magazine that there is an Italian car day at Newstead Abbey, Notts next Sunday (not just for FOC members or just for Fcars). The website for the venue is http://www.newsteadabbey.org.uk - its a very old building with grounds and sounds very interesting. Just wondering if anyone from here is going or if I can tempt anyone to go that maybe didn't know this event was on? I'll be going in my 348 Spider providing the weather isn't too bad. Justyn. |
