Yes, it definitely is a Testarossa and not a 512 TR! You can buy a lot of Testarossa's on the net with a 512 TR modification (sounds almost like a porsche as in turbo look 911)!

Hi Matthieu,

Aaaah! Yes - you are right. I just took a look at the site again and was fooled by the colour-coordinated front end. The car in the picture certainly does not have the "V-grill" and is a Testarossa.

I just spoke to Wolfgang on the phone and he's been driving a Testarossa and an F-40 today. Lucky bastard!!!!!!
Cheers, MARK

Hello Mark,
In fact, I found some 512TR pictures which allow me to show a real 512TR which has a front spoiler in "V" shape, with different lighting, and the interior is fully different considering a new wheel (looking like the one of the Mondial T ;-) ) and new seat and also many differencies in the commodo...
I have been in those both TR an Testarossa, and it seems that those both cars get NO limit (as much in RPM as in handling) ! Amazing car, an another planet than my Mondial T ;-)
Next step one day maybe !

Regards,

SFerrari

Hi Matthieu,

I also discovered the site this morning...they have a lot of cars on offer. Very interesting. I believe the car in the advert is a 512TR - it has the colour-coordinated front spoiler and a different grill to the Testarossa.

Cheers, MARK

HI,
Very nice car, but I guess this small add is concerning a Testarossa and not 512 TR, but whatever,a good site I didn't know, thanks...

Yup,

"The King is Dead" as they say in Memphis. F*#ing bastards Hey, what changed your mind - I thought you wanted a 516TR??

Munich! Have a haxen & weiss for me at the Lwenbru keller at Stiglmaierplatz, a few minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Although it's probably Munich's worst beer, it has become one of my regular stops over the years.

Hmmm!! Maybe I will go to Munich this weekend!!

Guys,

I also bought a new car on the weekend...but only a Peugeot 206 XS for my wife. It goes well for what it is...

Wolfgang, so is it a 516TR or a Testarossa?

Tyson,

everthing is fine to me and the reason I`m selling the F308 is to get the testarossa this weekend on Sunday, hopefully. I`m realy not big enough to maintain a 8 & 12 cylinder together. so I decided to sell the 308.
Keep you updated.

I can understand that Dirk is a little bit worried. Insurance in Belgium is very expensive.
Just ask the owners at a meeting of the Vlaamse Ferrari Vrienden and you will get the best answer.

Dirk,

I`m not kidding and its not a joke (sometimes I can be real serious;-)
I pay around uro: 800,- for the whole year/12 month. Thats an all included insurance / "Vollkasko". Details about the contract by PM or phone. Its a big, well known and serious company!!! That deal is exclusive for Ferrari owners and members of the FCD.

Cheaper then a wife:
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,....... Upload

Dirk,

I don`t know the insurance deals in Belgium.
In Germany we have some preety good oportunitys to insure our Ferrari for cheap money (less then a VW Golf!)
Hope to CU in the next few years on the road with a "Red" one!

LLOOOOOLLLL
that's a good one Wolfgang
well for one i hope to start making some money with photography next year.
second, i just bought that golf last month, it's a new one.
since my previous company went broke last month i had to buy my own car, but i'm getting a better paid job.
Now the biggest problem is a ferrari on my name while i'm 23????
the insurance was already a pain in the ass for a Golf. they charge like crazy because they think i'm still to young
So if i show up now saying i want to insure my new 308 then either i'll see money signs floating in their eyes or they just started laughing and tell me to leave

Dirk,

thanks; but why do you want to wait 2-3 years????
Now you are a class-act prof. photographer with a slow VW Golf. Mhmmmm, think about to be a:
Calss act prof. photographer is a fast & beautiful Ferrari!
More jobs, `cause you will be faster;-)
More cash, `cause you are the first to bring the pics to the press.

Testarossa is still waiting for me!
Today was the day to see, check and drive my new toy, the Testarossa, for the first time. But we have had to displaced the appointment until Sunday, 21.September. The owner is a hard working business man and was to busy for today. No problem, just a bit sad. I will see the car on my way back from Austria on Sunday next week.

Thanks Martin,
I know, its not the cheapest one - but the best one I can get here. Just 2 owners, less km`s, papers a.s.o. Of course, I saw your testarossa in your store for a real resonable price. But shipping, VAT makes it too expensive.
But: I haven`t bought it already!!!! I spoke to the gentelman several times and I will have my first impression and drive of the car on Wednesday....till Wednesday its just an idea/dream. The next step will be a closer look from my garage master R.F. If everything is fine, I will definitiv buy THIS testarossa.
I will let you know about the transaction.

Hi gents,

this is not a joke and I`m not kidding.
I `m going to sell my beloved 308 GTSi QV 1985 for a real resonable price.
uro: 29.000,-
The reason is: MY NEW FERRARI arrives in 2 weeks!!!!!
I was thinking about to keep the car and buy another 12 cylinder. But to be honest:
Its too big & expensive for me to drive and serve a 8 & 12 cylinder together.
So I decided to sell my 308 in good, good hands no dealers and I`m going for
the one & only 12 cylinder!
The Ferrari is on sale at:
www.mobile.de

Here are some more facts about my car (well its in german `cause I believe it well be sold
in Germany):

Please feel free to contact me for any more questions. See pic in profile or in some other threads and of course its a pleasure for me to send you some more pics by mail
