Hey you never know.. Maybe start a trend. I can see it now 360's with LPG tanks! Nightmare!!

Serious though it doesnt sound so dumb on a 400. I've seen some rolls with them, and i've heard of Bristols and Jensens with them too.

LPG conersion on a 400, not as bad an idea as you'd think, if you can do it to an Aston Lagonda and a bristol why not a 400i, plenty of boot space and good ole bosh mechanical injection to boot.
if you do this Adnaan I'd suggest leaving the boot closed at FOC meets!!!!

I've seen his site, and will probably contact him closer to going down the 400 route, if I go that way. Personally I think the mondial will suit me better. Im commuting at the mo, but plan on giving this up in the next 6 months, so i'll be able to use it as a daily driver.

I've got a G300 which drinks bucket loads, so im about to put an lpg tank in that. Hey thats an idea. How about a 400i with an LPG tank! Contradiction in terms i guess!!!

adnaan,
the 400's are cheap because some parts are huge money, 2-3k for an exhaust!! and thats not including fitting, tyres that are almost never available off the shelf, the list unfortunatley just goes on, if you want one to use 1-2 times a week 400, if you want something to use almost daily Mondial
oh and if parts wont kill you petrol will, mine drinks more than a rough v12 xjs!
think the 6k car is priced a little high 5-5.5k would give you some money to get the paint sorted but check hard for filler, my car was "restored" in the mid 90's by a marque specialist, as metal bits are expensive they used filler to stop up the rust holes,
I put my thumb through the rear wheel arches and the filler on the nose just plain ol dropped off!.
As always look really carefully before parting with cash, on the plus side the carb cars are a little easier to work on!,
have you joined the owners club? if so try speaking to Simon Campbell he's pretty much done it all as far as 400 carb cars are concerned.

Andrew

As you know i've been looking at mondials for a while. Only reason why I havnt yet is i've been property buying and about to start a business, so the F car has been put on hold for a while.

Anyway I love the 400 series and have seriously considered one instead. They are just great value for money. There is one for sale at the mo for just 6K with 19K miles, full service history. Vendor says mechanically sound but the paint has faded a little. Not much rust apparantely too. Plus bonus is it has a manual box, but is a carb model. Seems such good value!

When I get one, hopefully early next year, its either gonna be a 400i or mondial. You've had both so which would you recommend? I want something that I can use everyday, so costs would naturally come into play. But the 400i's are just so damn cheap! I've seen some good ones in auction for less than 7K.

Adnaan, yeah love the 400i too, perfect for cruising into the office at this time of year, as you can see by that photo these cars really were not built to be used every day, the running gear is robust enough but the body just rust's out given half a chance, having said that with a good body shop and plenty of mild steel it can be put back together properly

will scan in a few more in the morning (most of these were when I first got the car 3-4 years ago before good and cheap digital cameras, so it'l be out with the negative scanner!)

Augustine,

The spoiler is originally delivered in black but was immediately resprayed red (by Ferrari) as some kind of aftermarket option. I like it more this way.

Ton,
Thanks for the compliments. I like this color more each day. By the way, I noticed that your rear spoiler is body colored. Did you have this done or was it a factory option? Beautiful car!
Best Wishes,
Augustine

Hi Guys,

And a warm welcome to the non-European visitors. Great pics. Augustine, I saw pics of your car before. It is absolutely a fantastic colour. Russ, congrats on your 360. It is an awesome car. Is it an F1 or manual shift?

Here is a pic of one of my sweethearts.

Although I am in the States, I enjoy the F-Chat-Europe side of things quite a bit more. Here is a pic of my current lusts. I have had the C2 Cab for a while, but the 360 Spider got here just three weeks ago.

Last night was a warm, clear night here in Florida. Got it to 150 with the top down. It was the first time my girlfriend has ever gone 150. She loved it. We ran out of road or we would have gone faster. There is a bridge near here where I took my black 360 coup to 170. That is where I will take her next.

No, it's a provisional plate. I haven't finish the import yet. I am having trouble to get the Reduced Technical Data Sheet for my 328 US version. Hopefully I will get it on Monday and I will get the European plates in 2 weeks.

I will post photos with the new plates when I have them.
