Hi Armin, Welcome at Fchat! You will definitely enjoy this site. And congrats on your beautiful Mondial T. The profile picture is very nice. About your technical question. The major service (including cambelts) is an engine-out procedure in the 348/mondial T. As far as I know it cannot be done with the engine in. Did you buy your car from Peter Rosenmaier? Ton |

hi to everyone, i am happy that i found this great community of ferrari enthusiasts, i am living in south Germany near of stuttgart. three weeks ago i got my first Ferrari Mondial T 9/93 and i like this car !!! hopefully some other Mondial T members are on this comunity for some information exchange. and now the first question on timing belt replacement: 75 308 gt4(peter) wrote The timing belts, water pump and other major accessories are right up against the firewall in the engine bay (yes, right behind the driver). Since these items need frequent servicing and the firewall is not removable, the engine must be dropped out. FYI: the 288 GTO, the F40, Mondial "t" and the 360 Modena all have access panels/removable firewalls to service the above-mentioned items. does anyone can confirm this ?? thanks in advance Armin |
