The car is refeerd to in the Forza Article as the rattest f50 in the world, which Jim I think took a little offense to. i don't know if they will be invited back to the French Quarter Concourso after that remark. You can read Jim's response in the next issue after the madewood report for his opinion. Here's the reason I own my car.

Eric, Jim had already had the black F50, and the article featured him taking delivery of an F50GT. Chassis 003. He had his black F50 shipped over so they could compare it to the GT. He has since sold the GT, but the black F50 remains. I did not know him until after the GT was sold. Wish I had been able to see it! |

Was that the same F50 that was featured in Forza magazine a while back? I was reading it (again) just last night, and seem to recall that Jim Spiro was taking delivery of the car at the track and Forza was there to cover the story. Great article, amazing car, and one very fortunate guy! |

Last I heard was that the blue F50 was repainted back ro red and sold. Also, I interened for Jim Spiro last summer at Smith Barney here in New Orleans and had pleasure of seeing his black F50 several times. Following him to the movies to catch a flick was wonderful. I almost got hit head on by a couple of cars when he was driving in front of me because everyone on the road could not keep their eyes off of his car. You would know if it were Jim's because it is usually dirty and has seen more rock chips on the front spoiler than a quarry! I doubt many other F50s are driven daily like his. Great car, and a nice guy to boot. |

I think Mark may have owned the California Blue F50 (repainted from red) previously, but it now belongs to a guy named Van or Vin, can't remember. |

Mark Rand??? I thought he owned that "azzurro california" (light blue) F50. Is this his second F50? Or was it repainted or so?? Any ideas? |

Yeah, Mark Rand, that's his name. He and his brother own an oil exploration company. |
